Thanksgiving is right around the corner. That means cooking, cleaning, company, and good family time. I'm excited. I am excited to eat deviled eggs, turkey, ham, desserts, and bread. Oh and pie of course. what are you excited to eat? Do you enjoy cooking for Thanksgiving?

My two favorite parts of eating Thanksgiving dishes is my dressing which is NOT boxed, and made from scratch pumpkin pie. Think I will begin making some cookies tomorrow too. Have a wonderful holiday!

I don't cook for thanksgiving, but I am excited to eat me some turkey. I love turkey and dressing, some cranberry sauce and some good ol' sweet tea. I also love honey ham, so delicious!

My stepdad and I will probably eat out as neither he or I have the health to cook a meal or clean up. He had a bad fall recently, I've bad Fibromyalgia. Plus with my mother in hospital, it just won't be truly Thanksgiving without her there. This year STINKS.

I love Thanksgiving! I make all the usual stuff - turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, string beans, hot rolls, gravy, cheese cake, apple pie, icecream! Cannot wait.

I'm excited for Thanksgiving, but I also feel bad because my mom just had shoulder surgery, so she can't attend the Thanksgiving dinner her family has up north. I would stay here with her, but she doesn't really like doing much for those types of holidays, so I'll probably end up going to my dads. I'm excited for the food and that's really it.

I don't cook for Thanksgiving yet. The holidays are still hosted by my grandmother. My mom has started doing some of the cooking because my grandmother is getting too old to cook everything herself. Eventually my mom will take over completely. I look forward to Thanksgiving because my mom makes the best fried stuffing patties. My grandmother is a good cook too and I like getting together with family.

I used to love the holidays...the cooking and baking mostly and the family gatherings. Last 7 years it has been not so great for different reasons and come this T-day..I will be hosting it again for first time in 7 years. used to, I'd start planning and have a huge buffet planned out and on the table by noon. Now...don't really want to! I want to see my kids and all but just not into the prep of it now! I am so not interested...but have planned...brown sugar glazed ham, baked potatoes (so I can put it ALL into the oven and be done with it..no mess etc) and fresh brown sugar glazed carrots, canned corn and warm-up rolls, bag of green salad fixings and dinner is done. WIll probably just buy a few pies and maybe bake some cookies for dessert! Just not into the holidays anymore!
