Im a fresh nursing graduate and I immediately passed the board exam this year. Im looking for a job and I've applied in many hospitals, but then there are also many registered nurses in the Philippines and a few hospitals and they prioritize those nurses who have more experience than new ones who dont have.

Hello dear,
Maybe a solution would be to do a part time job and do some volunteering work to build up some experience on your field of study, that might just work and get you what you need.
Take care.

this is a common problem for a lot of nurses in our country. Most of the hospitals if you don't have enough experience they will not hire you or you need to serve as a "volunteer" first, meaning you don't have a salary for at least 6 months some even for a year and worse some greedy Hospitals take advantage of this situation and ask money from the nurses so they will accept them as volunteer. And poor nurses some of them needs to resort to this kind of "system" just to gain experience. I suggest you try applying in private HMO because it is really hard to get a job in Hospitals.

That's actually the sad scenario right now. There are a lot of school which opened up a Nursing course when Filipino Nurses are in demand abroad. The problem now is that, Nurses are no longer that needed abroad and ending up staying in the Philippines to look for a job. In your case since you are a fresh graduate, competition is really tight. Just be patient and if possible consider other areas where you can work. BPO industry is "in" right now in the Philippines. Try venturing into this market and who knows, you might end up successful in this industry.
