When Will All This End?

I'm talking about the Michael Jackson saga. That farce of the Conrad Murray Trial has only just finished but ALREADY we have had one Juror on telly letting everyone know why the verdict was correct and NOW we have (presumably) the sick Jackson family putting various items from Michael Jackson's bedroom up FOR AUCTION, including his DEATHBED! I mean, how sick is that? Who would want it for crying out loud! In my opinion, the bedroom should be left alone. In fact, everything belonging to Michael and his kids should be left alone. Unfortunately, his children aren't old enough to "have a say" in what's happening and it's this that saddens me the most. Any opportunity that comes along for the Jackson Clan to cream money off the Michael Jackson name it will be taken...and this is only the start of what's to come, I'm sure of that. It's a shame there wasn't all this fuss when the guy was alive, don't you think? Michael was skint, which is why he wanted to do those London gigs. If his family were so concerned why didn't they help him then? I really wish Michael Jackson's Dad would just DIE, the bloke's a parasite.

Oh, Janey, don't you know? It will never during our lifetime. As long as their is one shred of something that MJ owned, someone is going to try to make money off of it. That mother, father and siblings are so hungry that we'll just not see the end of it. I hope those three kids have level heads on their shoulders by the time they're grown. If they do I don't think they will have learned it from their family. I got so tired of that trial of the doctor that whenever it was even mentioned, I turned off the tv station. I think even those jurors are going to try to make money off of the trial. Stay tuned for the tell-all book(s).

I hope Conrad Murray writes a book to coincide with anything the Jackson family churns out. You're right though, this thing will run and run. I hope none of MJ's kids can SING 'cos it will start all over again with them if they can.

Michael was a product of his family and in my eyes a dangerous idiot. He was creative as well but not someone you like to put as an example for your kids. Michael never learned what self esteem ment, to accept himself, his looks, the way he is. The way he got his kids, the way he treated kids (also kids of others) and also the way he neglected all the animals he gathered is also not a great example. It's even despicable. Still there are people who love to forget all these things and only want to remember the great person he was. These people will try to blame others for everything that happend and ofcourse try to make money out of it. So the answer is simple: this will never end as long as there are people who will see a chance to make money. No matter if it's family or a stranger writing the next book.

I certainly got sick of Sky taking up hours of news broadcasting time televising it all live. Did the bosses at Sky really think that it was more important to do that than to cover real news about the things that are happening now and will affect all of us? Anyone who sat through all those hours seriously needs to get a life and I was really glad when it all ended an I could watch the news about the stuff that is really important today.

I hope I didn't give you the impression of someone who gives a stuff about all that lol. It's just that I couldn't escape some of it, especially the "verdict" which was so unreal it was like something out of a Soap Opera. I agree that Sky News were wrong to show absolutely every minute of that "trial." Can you imagine what it would be like if we allow cameras into courtrooms? I hope that day NEVER comes. It was bad enough when they showed Jo Yeates' apartment, even before the Jury had a look at it.

I am tired of all this Michael Jackson stuff myself. But I don't know how much the family actually knew, he was a private person. And I am sure he hid lots of things from them. Conrad Murray was one of many doctors that did whatever Michael wanted. I also think it is sick that they are auctioning off his deathbed. And yes, his kids have no say in whats going on here. The whole thing is sad.

Yes, I think Michael was treated in Las Vegas or somewhere, by another doctor. You're right; it is all very sad but I think he's in the best place now, to be honest..well out of it!

I agree with you also. I think it should all be left alone. The poor kids have enough to deal with, I'm sure they hear some of it, why put them through more? It's a sad situation. =(

For me if you are not a live that's the end of your day so be it just like when we live but more important that you know the one whom you worship is Jehovah God.

The furniture of people dying with no family are also often sold in auctions. A great writer and collector like Edmond de Goncourt -- founder of a well-known literary price in France -- refused to sold his collections during his life and said in his will that he wanted to see all his collections and furniture sold in auctions to pleased as many collectors as possible : it is because of this will that I have been able to buy some of his personal books a century later. I don't see anything wrong or shocking here, except indeed if Michael Jackson had something particular against auction sales.

I agree with you, they could just leave it alone. I would not want MJ's deathbed, I might get nightmares I hope the kids would not grow up getting the Jackson's family attitude!

They don't seem to have a mother-figure, which would help.
