It is crazy to see so many people go to buy iPhone 4S

There is a category of people in every place who enjoy the kick out of being the first to possess: whether a new phone, new car, new movie [first day first show] and all the firsts. I think while we may have a view at personal level that it's unnecessary but we must give it to them. As far as I am concerned, I'm neither excited about an iPhone nor about battling it out for prestige. Though my view is that it's not a phone for my needs I also feel Apple products are a little overrated.

It is unconceivable!Nowadays some people pursue brand name to this point where they are so fanatical as if they get it for nothing.I don't know if it has to do with the head of "apple" who passed away not long ago.

youless, I believe you have to agree with me that the iPhone is a really impressive smartphone and in their own class as well. Irregardless of the negative aspects or con side of the phone in regards to the battery drain, the iPhone4S still pack a considerable and impressive configuration with the latest A5 chip and a fast 8 megapixel camera with a f2.4 aperture which makes it the fastest camera on a mobile phone with only Samsung Galaxy 2 coming close in this class. Besides, I am sure the current customers are actually the ones waiting for this latest series since news launch of the upcoming series after iPhone4. Application wise is also quite impressive where for a start the current iOS5 allows wireless data sync and power charging with any Mac book or desktop, which again is a class in itself. I don't think it is crazy considering the fact that the number of sets is limited and most of the time less than the overall demand which is all in the name of quality for the set. So, you can be assured that once they are sold out which takes a few days, the waiting for the next batch would be for months and with the launch of iPhone5 around the next quarter, I believe none would want to be caught in the next frenzy wait.

Alot of people having been waiting for today to buy this iPhone 4S. If it is that important to them they will do whatever it takes to get it. That is what this country has come to. Material possessions are all important. The newest technology and keeping up with best and the neastest is what these people want. No, they can't wait!

It is crazy, alright. I would never put myself through that kind of thing. I'd much rather buy it online and save the hassle. I guess it is kind of a fun experience for youngsters. And a way to get out of doing chores.

I don't understand them either, but maybe they want to be one of the first that will have it, well hehe maybe they wait for it for a long time and they can't wait for another day anymore.

It all depends on whether their contact just ended or whether they are afraid that the store will run out. Personally I wold wait for the iPhone 5 that will come in when my contact runs out. For instance if one has the iPhone 4 and wants the iPhone 4S, then if their contact has not run out yet, they would have to pay extra to get out of the contact especially if it is not 2 years into it. I do like the iPhone as I am more of a visual person and hate those teeny little keyboards where I am more likely to touch the wrong letter.

Not being one of those people that have to be at the forefront of technology I don't understand the panic. I do know that in the right hands all the i-phones are fantastic pieces of equipment and some of the apps. are really good. I'm afraid in my hands they are the most frustrating ever the slightest touch in the wrong place wether on the outside edge or screen and something happens that wasn't intended. In my hands it is the worst piece of equipment ever. Queuing for anything is annoying so I would certainly not be in the que for any i-phone.

I have also seen the news from the net. I was so shocked that people would line in queue, and wait for days to buy iPhone 4S. And among them, quite a few people want to make a profit by selling the iPhone to others, because the price is much lower in Hong Kong. I think those people are just so crazy.
