Would you save someone's life if you dont know them?

lets picture out your on the street and you saw a man collapse before you and no one is around. you are medically inclined, you know that the man needs CPR and you know how to perform it but forgot to bring with you a face shield. You dont know who the man is and you have no idea if he has communicable diseases that may be passed to you. What would you do?

I would go to him and preform CPR. I believe God puts things in our path for us to deal with. I truthfully don't think I'd NOT be able to help this person just laying there helpless. I'd do everything in my power to help him. If I ended up catching some communicable disease at least I'd know that I did it saving a persons life or at least trying to save it, there is some honor in that.
