It is a nice day today so I decided I will go outside and read. I will be reading my books for school. It is for a public speaking/professional communication class. I have to read two chapters and I usually don't need to take notes with the particular book I am reading. Which is nice because I will be able to just sit outside and read the book.
Have you ever went outside and read a book? If so, how was the weather? Nice, I hope.
What did you read?

I actually like to read outside sometimes because I like natural sunlight, although lately it has been to cold to read outside. I can only read outside for an hour before I start to sneeze a lot.

I might have, while waiting for the metro-bus, in pretty-much any weather but rain or snow. It was a little while ago, but I would take the bus down to the downtown library---not for books, so much as for the free 30-minute sessions of Internet-use I could get there (while my Internet at home was on the fritz).
Although I did check-out an interesting DVD about philology and maybe -a few books on Nichiren Buddhism, the last book I remember going outside to read was "MAD about the Sixties" or "-the Seventies," one or the other of a couple of collections I have of funny materials from "MAD Magazine" (now that I think about it, not too different--in title OR -content--from "MAXIM Magazine" )

Well, I can take my reading outside, and I have done that. However, as my age increases it is no longer so fun. For instance, I would rather sit in a comfortable chair than try to lie down on a blanket. An outside chair is fine for awhile.
The other issue I have makes the beach a lousy place to read. I really don't like reading out in the bright sun.
I hope you enjoy your fresh air, and maybe the quiet and solitude - depending where you are reading.

I love to read outside, but in my country it is only possible in summer months. The rest of the year it is too cold to sit outside. At the moment we have to wear big coats when we go outside, but it is still cold, so it doesn't seem very tempting to read outside. I guess I would run back to the house within 5 minutes if I tried to read outside But in May, June, July or August I like to read outside. Sometimes I read in the garden and sometimes I read in a park or at the beach. When the weather is nice I like to do my homework outside, but I also read other things like novels or magazines.

yes i like outside and read, Before going out to view the stars.
Below is a quick article from the University of Michigan on some of the benefits of going outside. I intend to add more info and video as I go along. However, nothing is like actually going outside in Nature. As you see below, Nature is required to reap the benefit. Even looking at a picture helps. More on all of this later! In the meantime, read on……..

During winters, I like to go upstairs and sit on the terrace of my house or occasionally sit in the garden outside around noon when sun is burning hot and weather feels warm and pleasant. I like to read my daily newspapers, magazines and books during this time.
With mild breeze blowing, birds chirping and flying past and sun rays making things warm, you do feel closer to nature enjoying value of simple pleasures even in midst of city life.

Sometimes when it is nice out I will read outside. Usually in the Spring and Summer I'll get to do this. We used to have a hammock out back and I would lay in that with one of my books and read on a nice day. It was so peaceful being outside with nature and reading. I would love to be able to do that more often if only we lived somewhere warmer year round.

I read outside all the time throughout the summer. I have a special lounge chair that I like to lay in and read. Sometimes I'm in the sun but for the most part, I enjoy a shaded area with my little dog laying there with me.
As far as the books I read, sometimes they are my text books for school and other timed they are just books I have got to enjoy.
It's very cool here right now so it may be a while before I enjoy reading outside again. Enjoy!

I would love to sit in a bench under a shady tree if there is any to read a book or listen to my favorite songs.
However, in my place, I can't find a nearby park to do such thing.
But,yes, I would like to read a book in a peaceful place.

In the country I live you can only sit outside and read if the weather is fine.
At this moment it's freezing cold so not the kind of weather to sit outside and read.
I read all kinds of books during summer time also magazine.
But I love to read most inside, if it's cold, dark, raining, with a nice pot of tea and I prefer to be home alone not to be disturbed by anyone.

Yes, it's good to read outside especially if the weather is really good. I can't do that now because I am living in a flat so I don't have any garden or any area which I can seat, read and relax. But I was living in a villa before and I do that almost every night, with a cup of coffee on the side lol. I wish I can do that again, now that it's winter.

Well typically I don't enjoy reading unless it has some financial gain to it so one day I will go outside and read up on success stories and strategies employed on Neobux! Neobux is such an awesome site and I'm still working to understand how earnings are maximized there but I will set aside a day to study the "ropes" of that site and it will be relaxing and informing! This will be probably my first outside reading session, in a while, or maybe since I've known how to read!
