Do guys prefer girls who wear make up?

though i'm not a guy, i like to see girls wearing light make up, especially when it's greatly applied on them..i think guys like the same way too..girls with heavy make up, especially when it's not on a proper place to be worn, is a big turn off to guys..they see those girls as a clown..light make up will always do..and a little retouch to make them look fresh..

I weard a lot of make up in my child hood...I had spend a big time to make up my face..I thought that all people are interested in make up...But before one year,My brother told me about that...Most of the boys are not like the girls who wears heavy make up...So I tried to avoid make up...But when I go out, Some people asks me that..Why you are looking very dull???What happened to you???Etc etc...So iam upset now...But I feel comfort with out make up...But the people surrounded me will not allow me to be with out make up...But most of the boys like to see girls in simple make up...I got this from my friends and cousin brothers :-)

Even from the replies on here, it really shows that it's the girls that prefer makeup far more then the guys, and guys on average more rather the girl was just natural. I mean, extremely few guys would ever feel the need to apply any kind of makeup to ourselves, so why would we be looking for it in girls? I think about it with us being a part of the animal kingdom. If you look at the majority of species on earth, the guys are naturally more colorful and appealing, while the girls are more bland. This works perfectly with natural selection, because the guys try to attract the girls, and the less visable the girls are, the better chance they'll safely have babies. What this also does, is make the girls see bright colors and wild styles as more appealing, and therefore, they think that the guys would like them more, if they did it to themselves... But guys appreciating that is more of a psychological trait then a natural one! It really doesn't matter so much to guys if a girl is wearing makeup, or not, and if you wear it a lot, then the guy will think less of you when you don't wear it, but if you don't wear it so often, then you put it on, the guy will think higher of you.

I totally agree with your statement, natural beauty is really the best for every woman. Women in my country loves to wear very thick make up, to the point that they look like they are wearing masks. Their really beauty cannot be seen because of this. They have very strong make up in their eyes, and they use very long adn thick eye lashes. I wonder how they look without those thick, cakey make up.

many guys get attracted to girls with make up. but i think a guy would rather have a naturally beautiful girl than a clown. make up tends to make a woman's face mature. a certain amount should be applied, make sure not to over apply make up.

God has gifted every one with showers of blessings and beauty. God has created created you and me with intensive care. He didn't made any mistakes while creatimg you. He gives maximum ability to create a wounder human being then what is the need of makeups? I like girls who are modarately fashioned it doesn't mean that girls should wear pickinies. What is the need of it? They are also human being.

When I was younger I wore a lot of makeup thinking that is what guys preferred to see. The older I got the more I realized that guys actually prefer girls without makeup. I guess that is because guys are more mature when they are older and they like to see a girls skin instead of the makeup thrown on top of it. Although I still think that all women look a little better with just a little makeup on. It always makes me feel better about myself when I wear some makeup.

For me it defends the situation there is a man who like to a girl with make up but they are not like too that case but if you are pretty without make up then why you put makeup in that way.

Those who are good from heart and are natural beauty do not have that strength to fight with these makeup beauties.World also does go behind thse only.Those who are not liking towards these are always weak.

I am a guy, and I don't prefer girls have done something redundant, or not natural. Applying make up to their faces that really depends on the situation, and the occasion. I don't prefer them to over apply those make up, that just not my taste. In general, I prefer a girl be nature. No make up is the best beauty they have in this world.

I wonder about that too! Do guys actually prefer girls with make up? I don't actually wear make up, I'm a bit of a tom boy and I find make up so unnecessary. I may wear it if it's like a wedding or something because you need to look good for a photo but applying makeup at school as well!? Really, make up just hides what's underneath there and you can't just wear make up all the time. To me, it shows you're insecure about yourself. I actually had a formal today at school, it was pretty last minute so I didn't wear any make up and I wore jeans and a nice top instead. I don't have a dress Clearly, the formal had no guys but all the girls were bustling and taking over the restrooms to put on some make up. There was no one to impress as it's an all girl's school but that didn't stop them. Also, why would you want to have make up dripping all over your face when you eat food or get wet? I don't think a guy likes a raccoon either.

well, not all guys prefer girls who wear make up because it hide's the true beauty of a girl's face. It is, honestly to say, "eye catching" but sometimes it doesn't really matter how we look visually. My wife never wears make up since she doesn't know how to make use of it and never did she have the time to put one (except on several occasions). But still, I find her beautiful naturally. Maybe it depends on the girl how she presents herself in front of other guys to make herself beautiful. Remember, you cannot please everyone. Everybody is of a different sort.

Different people may feel differently about it. From what I have come to know from mylot and other discussion boards, no two people have the same tastes when it comes to girls. Some may like the very fashionable ones who wear make up, heels and what not and some may prefer just the cute girl next door who the person feels comfortable being with.

Hi! Natural beauty + attitude is always preferred by men. Of course, beauty with cosmetics on would only add to the effect. I was even adjusting to my boyfriend at first since he wants me to always look my best (with light make up and without the look of overdoing it). Before, I go for the everyday stuff- tshirts and jeans. But now, i know how important it is to be always at your best. Get dressed! play with colors, have light make up on just to add color to ur cheeks. You don't want your boyfriend to look at other girls of course, so try to be BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT.

I personally agree with you strongly that natural beauty is truly beautiful and attractive. There are a lot of superficial guys out there that have this stereotype of what beauty is and it is an image created by the media. I wish that women didn't feel so pressured to try and appease and appeal to men's tastes because they are already perfect as it is. Unfortunately it is things like media and celebrities that help to instill that sense of insecurity which causes a lot of already gorgeous women to put way too much make up on. I personally love girls that are naturally beautiful and am so incredibly attracted to them. I only think make up is pretty when it is clearly the girl's choice and you can tell that she just wanted to look a little nicer or different that day. It is far from necessary though and that is the important thing. I hope that in the future women don't feel the pressure of satisfying men's tastes because a lot of them are absurd and some of them unmeetable. If you don't feel comfortable constantly putting all that make up on, don't, and keep looking because there are plenty of guys out there that will find you incredibly gorgeous without makeup, and fellas like me that would find you beautiful right after you woke up with no time to do anything to yourself. Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder and you will truly feel pretty when you have found someone that doesn't expect you to go above and beyond because they already think you are perfect as is.

Well, as for me I really don't go for girls with makeup. Especially those that are full of it. Natural beauty makes me look not the make up. I will only want a girl to wear a make up when there will be a lot of picture taking coming up. It helps a lot in getting nice pictures and preventing oils to destroy that nice smile in pictures. Also, sometimes I find those girls wearing too much make up to be like the she males around! But of course, having make up that is carefully and exactly been put will surely enhance the girl's natural beauty. But I would prefer girls who are beautiful with make up on and pretty without make up.

I do love girls with make up but if they look good without it they are considered, by me at least, very beautiful! If a girl can be pretty without make up and can be gorgeous with make up, then she is twice as attractive! Hopefully the girl has a good personally and is a beautiful person, then it really won't matter how good she looks with or without makeup!

i dont prefer girls with makeup. i like the natural beuty. why we want a lot makeup....its realy bad. i hate it needed in small amount.thats all

I think this is to different people . To me ,a traditional boy , I like natural beauty . Once a upon ,I had a girl friend and I told her that I love her not because her beauty .But she don't think so and we fight a little ......... Wow ,how can I say ,That's a tough experience and we separate now ..... I'm on your back ,believe yourself!!!

I do agree with you. I very like a girl with natural beauty. Because, she don't hide behind make up. I already saw some girls, who take make up so much on her face. Yeah, i really don't like it. Every girl will be look different when she no make up. That's why i like a girl with nautral beauty.
