Have you found your prince? Tell me your story! Here's mine:
I had always heard it's better to be friends with someone first then date if the friendship works but never followed that advice until after my divorce. I had a friend I had met online(in my town) and he was a great friend but I did not want to make it more then that. Over time he was there for me through all of my ups and downs. When guys would break my heart he was the one that I could always count on to be there and to help me through it. Eventually I decided to give him a chance and we have now been together over two years and we are planning our wedding for 2013. I def. think he's my prince charming! No he's not perfect, we fight and things are not always peachy but we have each other and at the end of the night we never go to sleep with out saying I love you and giving each other a kiss good night!

I have not yet found my prince or prince charming in life. I have lots of crushes but still no one proves his love for me yet. I believe I will find my prince charming at the right time that God has set. I also believe that before I could find my prince charming, I have to find myself first. So that when the right time comes, I'm ready to give myself to love him forever.You know what, I think prince charming sometimes hid himself in a form of a friend,close friend, or a stranger but still no one really knows. Only God knows who is your prince charming and it's for you to find out later.

What is a prince? I never had a picture of him in my mind so it's hard to tell.
If there were pictures (about looks) he surely is not the one and also these pictures changed through the years/in time.
I think if he is my prince I will find out one day.

ps If I hear the word prince I think of the prince of our country.. what an ugly .... or I think of prince charming (shrek) or other princes named in fairytales. They all are selfish or losers or there to safe someone.
I don't need to be saved and I guy like prince charming I would str... in the first seconds.. so perhaps no prince for me then?

I have heard this story so many times (In a good sense). About the best friend turning into the lover. So I guess if you have a best friend of the opp. s*x (Same if you are not straight) then you should really stop looking for the special some coz you already have that.

That is so true! I never thought I would be with him and getting married to him in a little over a year. I had no interest until I looked deeper in myself to see what really mattered to me. I finally realized that the best looking bad boy type wasn't for me and that this gorgeous, sweet southern boy was my best friend and I needed to give him the chance he deserved. Now I am so glad that I did!!!

what a nice love story that you have. I dont have my story because I havent found my prince yet. I always wanted to be with someone who have been a friend for a long time, because this person knows you better and Its nice to have memories when you were plainly good friends, like comforting each other who have been through a heartbreak. where you can look back, laugh and say "I really didnt expect us to be together".

I agree! It is a great love story! We know each other so well that we can finish each others sentences, we can tell if one's lying even if they say they are not. It's just a great relationship (of course we fight like any other couple) but we just have a love like no other! It's amazing! I love it!
I'm sure you will find your prince when the time is right. If your looking for him don't! It always happens when your not looking. Generally if your looking you are going to find a guy that will give you attention at the moment not love for life! Good Luck!

I may say yes! I found my prince and now he
Is the king to our house...we started as friends...its about 8 yrs before we realize that we have feelings for each other...it took almost 5 yrs before we get married..and now we have our prince and pricess in the house...and we are together now for 3 yrs...

Ow that's so sweet. I'm happy for that you've found your prince charming, as much as I want to share a story like unfortunately I haven't found yet the one for me. But reading your story give me a wake that love is sweeter the second time around not necessarily to the same person you've loved before. It's like yours, it was a love bound by friendship and at the second love that comes, it was a love forever!!. Anyways, congratulation bnsp09 for having him. Well ,I'm a boy and I had GF once upon a time . But not very good for me because we separated eventually for a lot reasons . Sorry to tell you this negetive things .
But I miss her some time . May be you can understand .
Happy for you and I think I will get my princess in the future .

I can completely understand where you are coming from. I went through a lot in my life with different relationships and they were mainly heart breaks so believe me I've been there. Try not to dwell on the past (I know easier said then done) and don't look for love and it will find you! Good Luck!
