I had been a great facebook fan. But now I find that site most boring. Is it just me? Or may be everyone else is quitting facebook that is why I dont find anything interesting or any updates there anymore. I do not find any updates from my friends and family there now and have almost stopped visiting facebook now.

I had been a great facebook fan too.I really love using facebook since I have so many friends and relatives from different countries and we use facebook more often to communicate since we can upload lots of pictures on it and it has also a video chat. But one thing that makes me sad is that some of your friends on facebook makes fun of your pictures or commenting words that are very offending. There could be times also that facebook bores me but still I keep on visiting my account to keep in touch with my friends and relatives from different countries.

In the beginning when I was new to facebook I liked to check often for pictures and updates of family and friends. Not any more. It has become a bit of a bore now. Not the same facebook as it used to be some years ago.

Maybe facebook really needs a change for it to become famous again and so that people would find it interesting again to visit the site. Maybe it should be added with some features that are interesting or catchy for us to keep on going with facebook.

I hate Face Book! I only use it for the jobs that I do once in awhile! So much dirty things there! I think there should be a law on what people get away with there!!

There are indeed a lot of indecent pictures being posted on facebook so it gets embarassing opening the site in front of kids and even in office. It has become unhygienic now.

I totally agree! They really should clean it up but you know they probably never will!

All glitters are not gold. The team behind facebook did not show wisdom to provide enough privacy to its members. Though I am a member in facebook, after realizing 'what is facebook' I stopped hanging over there. Good luck to its fans!

Facebook was not the same some years back as it is now. It was interesting once upon a time when I joined. Now things are different there.

I find it boring too. At the start I liked the games but all is changed, friends are no friend. I don't need it for keeping contact to old friends (poke etc it's all a waste of time and fake attention) and because of everything they add it's not complete but only makes it harder to visit, load, play. I never go over there. A discussion or normal chat is hard to get and I also don't like everyone to sniff around in my private life.

Yes facebook has got a lot more complicated now. It is not as easy to navigate now. The games also sometimes take a long time to open and after that they just freeze. I too dont like the poke option.

Facebook has lost its "umph"! I feel like its a graveyard social network now and is becoming somewhat of a more modern Myspace! A lot of my friends and I have transferred our networking to Twitter and Twitter seems to serve some longevity until the next big thing comes out and then we will all hop on board! I remember when Facebook was everything and anything that was to be shard was done through it, and now there are other competing social services that just may exceed the membership Facebook has worked so hard to acquire!

Yeah, Facebook is getting bore day by day. Earlier I was crazy about Orkut, after few years I created my Facebook account. I was addicted to Facebook, whenever I finish my college, I used to log in my account and start checking my notifications and messages and chat for 5 hours. I was just crazy about everything in Facebook, mostly the game(Farmville). I used to play that game for hours. But now I don't even open that site. None of my friends care about messaging me or poking me, may be they got busy in studies but at least they would have poked me once in a week. So even I don't care about Facebook. I am happy using MyLot. At least I can earn some money here.

Actually, we get bored of using the same website, same friends. So we get excited to jump onto other website, to make new friends, new relationships(some people do). Just as I did, I joined worldslargestchat then jumped to Orkut then Facebook and then finally jumped onto MyLot.com

Mostly my facebook page is filled up with junk, or spam. I guess it just depends on what you use it for. One thing that irritates me is when Facebook changes things on a whim. Also, I find the settings to be cumbersome and it's not so easy, at least for me, to delete things on my page. You'd think they'd change that, and not the other stuff that's on there. Oh well.

You are right in saying that the facebook page is filled up with junk. I too get bored flipping through so much of junk to get to some useful information. The games too are a bore as they take a long time to start and then after starting they just freeze.

I was never really interested in facebook. I hardly ever go there unless someone sends me a message. I tried the games a little bit but they were always so slow to load and would freeze that I just quit trying. I thought it was my computer but I could do anything I wanted on other sites without issue. Anyway..yes...I do think facebook is a little boring. I'm not as active as some on there though.

Hi Mayka, same like you, i had been less visiting Facebook. Because i found it quite boring now. Even my family and relatives seems using less Facebook now. They seems more interested in using YM or video conferencing. I only visit Facebook when i am very free. Most of the time, i prefer to spend time into posting in Mylot and other online sites.

I almost lost interest on Facebook. Its not because I can't receive updates, but I am always notified about some pages and friends I do not know, so I am clearing my friends list with unfamiliar faces and disliking some fan pages to reduces the notification.

I think all our friend lists are filled up with a lot of unknown and unfamiliar faces. I had started at first accepting friends who were writing on some sites that I was in. But now it has become a bit of a bore reading everyones updates.

That's just typical. I stopped using Facebook for awhile myself. And usually I've also noticed that people who love playing games in Facebook have separate game accounts which may be the reason that they no longer update their mains. The Facebook craze is dying down. That's probably why people don't log in everyday anymore.

I feel a little bad for Mark Zuckerberg. Lately, many people have gone bored with facebook, it was bound to happen i think. Because people spend too much time on facebook, they get so used to it, it becomes a routine and routines are boring. I quit facebook last year. Now i only sign in there to check on my messages, find some old friends and check for any updates that i may need to know. I found that facebook games too much time from my day, i was addicted to it before, and i slowly realized that i won't be able to accomplish anything if i keep on doing it. If i keep playing and level up my game status it won't change my life any for the better. So i had to focus on my life before it rots away.

Not only has it become a routine but the pictures posted there are not too good. The games are too slow and sometimes impossible to play because they just freeze.

Paid site or not, I dont and probably wont have a facebook account because I dont need it and have never ever felt the need to have one. Its just a waste of time trying to just post unwanted/clumsy things. With due respect to Facebook, the people should exercise caution and use it wisely for what its meant for, connecting people in case of need/emergency, not just for sharing everything other than what is important.

I had opened this account just to be in touch with family and friends who live out of the country. But nowadays a lot of unwanted unhealthy stuff keeps appearing that I dont feel like logging in there anymore.

Previously the birthday notifications would come one day before the birthday. Now it comes once a week and we have to remember all the birthdays for the week. Yes during festivals it helps to wish everyone at one time.

I agree, i find it more worth while spending time on mylot then FB. It was obvious that people get bored of social networking websites sooner or later. I see unnecessary updates. I only login to check messages and few updates my friends. However, we cannot deny the market potential. FB is a good platform for generating traffic. That is the only selling point i see in FB now.

I've never been a big fan of Facebook. I think it's extremely intrusive and can easily damage ones self-esteem. I actually took advantage of one of the newer features and hid most of my "friends" posts. I maybe see about forty people's now. There isn't a point in me reading irrelevant crap about someone's dog or their hair, is there?

I no longer really use facebook for social reasons it has become more of a marketing tool for me then anything else. It seems that most of my friends have either stop making updates or the ones who do still use the updates use it for the most retarded of reason like "going to the bathroom now" who really cares ya know. It does still prove a valuable marketing tool and I like to cloudcrowd app to make a few extra bucks but other then that I can't really see myself ever using it in the same daily fashion that I used to.

I think many of us are bored at this site. May be because it has become very monotonous. May be the site needs a change. Or else we need to change our choice elsewhere.
