I am having trouble right now verifying my paypal account. I use smart money card in order to do it so but I think, my smart money card has a problem also. It cannot supply its own function for internet transactions. Smart money users said that in order to use your smart money account in verifying paypal, you must first update its menu for internet transactions. In order to do it so, you must type "INTERNET" and send to 343. I keep on sending this since yesterday but the same response that I get in the administrator of smart money: "Request not processed. Please try again later." I do not know what to do right now. Is it usual to receive that message or it is just for me? Do you had experience also this before? What should I do? How will I verify my paypal now? Can I still get my extra money in paypal?

I am not familiar with smart money account. I cannot help you much there.
Your money in Paypal will be safe. You can still receive payment even if your account in unverified. However, I'd like to point out that some money making sites require you to have verified Paypal account.
Why don't you verify your Paypal account with your bank account? Or there are some prepaid credit card or Virtual Credit Card. You can use Virtual Credit Card to verify your Paypal account.

i agree with you. the easiest way for me to verify my paypal account is using debt card, and i can also use vcc(virtual credit card) to complete verification. but it will cost some money to buy a vcc.

Hi,
I'm not very familiar with smart money cards so I can't actually think of a way to solve your issue. But a debit card can be used to verify your Paypal. It's easy and I'm sure you can get one at your local bank. The rest are just instructions to follow. Hope this helps. Cheers!

I have no idea about debit card. I will just try my best in order to surpass this issue. I really need to have a verified paypal account. It is really important.

Hello, try to use EON debit card to verify your Paypal account. You can go to Unionbank and inquire, it will cost you 350 pesos plus 200 pesos balance.

I know that you can verify your paypal account using a credit card because that is how my husband and I first verified our paypal account, years ago. However, you can also verify your paypal account by linking it to your checking account. We've also done that so that we were never using credit to make any of our paypal purchases before I was earning money online.
If you are having problems using your card to verify your paypal account, I would suggest trying to do it through your checking account.

I have a verified paypal account and let me tell you something.
Go in the nearest bank and open an account, request a mastercard(all these services are for free) and move around paypal or internet in general with ur credit card. The internet money services are still much behind(technically) compare to face to face money dealing.

Well for I verified my paypal account using my credit card, if you have it just do so. If you are encountering this problem using your smart money card you better call the customer care hotline to further assist you with your problem.

My suggestion is to contact smart first and ask if their card can be used for paypal verification. If it is then ask the procedure. Remeber, when verifying your paypal account and you input you card number, you should have at least 200 php in it since paypal will charge 1.50+ USD for the verification process. Also, if you will withdraw your paypal money, they willl charge you naother 250 php. That is a lot of money so what I'm doing now is to collect all my money online first them withdraw them altogether so that they will only charge me once.

Hello I have used smartmoney to verify my paypal few months ago. Im not sure if i remember correctly the details but I think you try to have cellphone load and then try again the procedure. Im not sure but in other transactions in smartmoney they do charge in balance inquiry so i guess registering need charges. :D

I had the same while ago don't know why.
They did had my bankaccount plus creditcardnumber and I even added a new one.
It took long but in the end the problem was solved.
Emailing paypal is not really a solution the answer will never arrive (or perhaps very late?).
I did call them (expensive over here) but that man really helped me out very fast.
I believe you do receive your money/can use your account that way but with me the rest was kind of blocked (so not able to send money from my bankaccount to the paypal account and not able to pay with it).
Please have a very close look at the site and what you have to do.
It can be a very small thing you forget (like a dot .)
It was something like that with me too, if it comes to that I don't think the site/profile/way of working is very customer friendly.

You can call the Smart Customer service so they can help and assist you with the verification. But I suggest you apply for an EON card from Unionbank and that's a debit card, wherein you only need Php350 for the card and a meager Php200 for Paypal verification where they actually pay you back after you're account is verified.
