facebook premium

have you heard of the latest spam this days that facebook is already up to changing accounts to premium mode. I believe it's the worse case scenario that people may be paying just to get in touch with their loved ones online. This is really a hard dilemma since we've been using facebook everyday and it's been a part of our social life. What about you? Do you think it's worth to pay for their services?

If you already know it's a false rumour, why are you still bringing it up? This rumour has been floating around the net for years. I think it's been posted on myLot before too. And to answer, no, it's not worth paying to use Facebook when there are better free games sites elsewhere, like Kongregate.com. (I don't know what "social networking" is, or why that phrase is often associated with a gaming app website like Facebook.)

I've opened this up coz it's my concern and not yours. If you're to post this comment then better yet not respond.

maybe social networking wont survive without the gaming platform integrated to them, since gaming can also be considered as social networking.

There is no premium mode, as far as I know. Even the front page declares that Facebook is free and will always be. I'm actually quite indifferent on this subject - I would've leaned more to the "It's not worth it" side if I was introduced to Facebook about a week ago. I guess it would be a bit more inconvenient if we have to pay for social life on the go, away from "real" social life. The main point is that Facebook Premium is not gonna happen. Totally not; it would ruin the reputation of the website that Zuckerberg took so long to build, along with his team.

I do think so too. I wouldn't pay so too just to get a social life.

This thing is never going to go away. Someone spreading the rumour about Facebook. All false. Facebook will never charge anything to use.

Those rumors of paying for Facebook seem to pop up once every few months, yet it never happens. Why would they even bother to charge people to use it? The site earns millions of dollars a year, and charging people to use it would only cause a decline in earnings since people would stop using it due to having to pay. At least, that's the way I see it.

I can't heard about it, friend. If that maybe the case...I don't facebook will be survive. How can they make people to be premium since they earn millions of money from users... I think no need for them to do that...

I see at the beginning when I try to log in in FB it says "register to facebook, is free, and always will be" this got my attention because was the first time that I see the part "and always will be "so I don't think that FB will be a pay site , they are already making a lot of money for us.

I seldom use Facebook and if they would even make it as a premium service I'd rather look for another free social networking site.

No, I haven't heard anything about this scam yet, but people really need to be careful on the internet because there are a lot of scams. I don't really use facebook enough to want to pay for the service, so I hope that never happens.

I've heard of that last year. But till now, they are not doing that yet. I hope they won't proceed to making it so profit making site. They have been in the online industry years now. I don't want to pay for fb usage of course!

yep, Facebook will go down the drain if they tried to put on a price tag.
