How to register a Trust?

Does any know where and how to register a Trust? I would be very grateful if someone could explain to me the process.

You need to execute a trust deed mentioning the trustees, object of the trust (Memorandum of Association), and the properties coming under trust. After this it is registered with the registration authorities (commissioner of income tax if it is charitable trust). There is a period of limitation there - 1 year from the date of formation of the trust. That is about it..I only know that much..sorry..

As far as I know every city has an Income tax office, and within that there is the office of Income tax commissioner. Forms for registering the trust can be obtained there. There are stamp duties applicable. I am not conversant with them. I believe they vary as per the property cost, and as per the state as well.
