Facebook just became an instrument to the reunion of an old couple here in the Philippines. It was last week when an old lady caught the attention of a concern citizen who was passing by that time in one of Manila's busy streets. The old lady was sitting patiently beside the road that seems to be waiting and looking for someone. She was wearing a simple house clothe dress with a small signage in front and at the back of her dress saying " missing person. please help" with a picture of an old man,his name, and contact details. The curios citizen then approached the old lady and ask who was the man. She said that it is her husband and he's been lost for two weeks already. Her husband has a neurological disease that causes her husband to act childish. With this, our heroine(the concern citizen) ask the old lady to have her photos taken and be posted in Facebook for the immediate help in looking for her lost husband. And she didn't get disappointed for a lot of Facebook users that were moved by the story shared the picture of the old lady. Few days later, the old man was found sleeping under a tram station. When asked,he said he was staying there because he doesn't know how to go home. The person who found the old man reported that he have found him(the old man) to a television station. A news reporter fetch him there and brought him to his house. A heartfelt reunion was seen.. And it shows that with a good intention, social media can be a great help.

That is indeed a heartfelt story. I am glad it worked out for the elderly couple. Kudos to the lady who had the presence of mind to think of FB and took a picture of the old lady. I'm sure many people seen her but not do a thing.

I was also touched and cried when I saw it in news, actually just out of intention I always shared stories like that on facebook. These means that there is also a good result coming from the facebook user, it was indeed a happy ending too.
