Do you remember the first discussion you ever made on mylot?
Sadly I don't.
I was also wondering if there was a way you could find out what your first disscussion was that you made!
And even more diffult.... can you remember the first discussion you reponsed to? Again I don't and wouldn't know how to go about looking for that either.
Now I think this is a toughy, what do you think my friends?

I cannot remember my first discussion, though it is only 2 years ago. However, I remember the first discussion I responded. It was about a lost wallet. I remember it because the discussion starter mentioned something like, 'Oh, you are a newbie,I just saw (1)on your username. Thank you for making my discussion your first activity herein myLot and welcome'. The other day, I tried to go back to that discussion to find out who the discussion starter was. There are too many pages to go through and in the middle my computer crashed. I'll get back to it one of these days. I've been meaning to get back to my first discussion started, but just haven't found the time.

I actually do remember the first discussion I started. It got one response It was "A shadow of our former self?" I don't remember the first one I responded to but I know that my first two or three discussions were complete flops and I don't think that they ever got a response. You can follow your discussions started on your profile to the last page and find your first one if you wanted to.

I really don't have the slightest idea what it was and where my first discussion is presently parked. I am also wondering how I fared in my first discussion in mylot and I can only imagine that it was in poor taste. Honestly speaking mylot is my maiden landing point in writing. I couldn't believe that I have been here for over five years and still going. But I am glad that mylot has unearthed my unborn interest in writing. My five years of participation in mylot has definitely polished the dusty layers of the gem that I never knew existed.

Don't recall. I wouldn't know how to find it either. Over four years ago. Ugh! It is a toughy. I can't remember what I did yesterday much less four or more years ago. I wonder if there is a way to find it. I don't know how to find stuff on this site so I am probably not a good one to ask.

Since I am just 2 months here I still remember my first post. It was a nonsense post of a newbie showing how confused I was But what I cannot remember is the first discussion I have responded too. I think it kinda take days for me to participate because I thought I could not just jump into those discussions and thinks that maybe they will just ignore me because I am new and they don't know me. I later find out that it doesn't matter whether you know them or not, you are always welcome to jump in

From someone who has been a member now for over 5 yrs., there is no way I could remember the first discussion that I ever started. Even if I was to look back considering they are not in order usually that would not tell me either unless I would have dated them. I do know that quality wise I know I have improved and now am able to talk about and discuss in a different light as well. Personally my life is much better because of myLot.

I went to the "started" tab in discussions and, after hopping through all the pages, found that my oldest discussion, five years ago, was about emotional abuse in teen relationships. My daughter had that problem and I posted asking for advice. I'm so happy to say that, although it took many years, she is finally out of that relationship and into a new, healthy and happy one with a nice young man! Next, I'll have to go to the "responded" tab and see what I was answering way back then too!

Wow you were quick in responding and doing your homework before you reponsed, well done my friend.
So pleased that your daughter is so much better now and hope it didn't bring back bad feelings about that time in your life.
Wish I wasn't so pc thick, I shall ahve to og back and have a hunt, but I have put many discussions on here and replied ot many. Problem is that they keep moving about as to when people re answered them etc.
Hope you are having a great weekend.

It is nice to go back sometimes and see how we were thinking/what was going on in our lives.
Me.. i'm a bit of a chicken at the moment I found a diary I wrote a few years ago when I know I was feeling down. I have hid it away at the bottom of my pj drawer. I'm scared to read it because I don't wish to feel depressed again and know it will all be sad and negetive.
Weekend going really well and looking forward ot a very good day tomorrow(sunday)

I think your friends are great, especially as some of them are my friends, too. I think we can go to the first discussion by going to the last one listed. Does that make sense. I remember being rather confused at first and I didn't know where to find the guidelines, so after lurking a while, I just jumped in somewhere. I broke a few rules at first, but that was better than not participating.

Honestly I can't even remember what discussions I responded to just last week, let alone remember the first topic I started. I tried going through my profile to see if you can locate the first discussion, but I couldn't find anything. It would be nice to be be able to see what was your first discussion and/or respond.

You know I think you have preceded me!
I wanted to write an argument, just trying to find this answer.
If you find the answer from other users, please, write it to me, maybe with a private message.
Best regards

honor deserves those points, because I don't have the time or patience to look back 5 years. It was either on finding someone who believes the way I do or finding someone who likes the same music I do. I actually didn't find any until a few months ago when I happen to find a friend who has the same beliefs...lol

Some time ago, possibly about a year back, I went back through my old discussions and saw to my surprise that my first discussion was not the one that I remembered it being. I had thought that my first discussion was asking how many Aussies there were here on MyLot. But I saw that it was not the first and in actual fact, a different discussion of mine was the one that I started first. I have absolutely no idea which discussion I responded to first, but I do know that it took me a while after first responding to discussions to actually start my own.

Yes I do remember my first discussion!
I remember it well because up until now, it still has zero responses. And it's always on the first page of my 'unresolved' tab.
Maybe one day, someone will respond to it, and I would give the responder the BR. Only then I could begin to forget about it!
