"No Ordinary People"

I remember seeing the commercials for this new tv series, but I never watched it for some reason. I was browsing new releases on netflixs the other day and found this show and decided to watch it. I got hooked on it! They are an ordinary family (sorry) dad who is a sketch artist for the police, mom who is a research scientist, and two kids…boy and girl. They go on a trip to spend time with mom and the small plane crashes in a jungle area, they land in a body of water and are all okay. Later, back home, they all begin to discover they have some odd powers. Mom can run really, really fast, Dad has super human strength, daughter can read minds and the son ends up seeing angles and numbers etc. and discovers he’s some sort of genius in figuring out things. This was the first season and it had 20 episodes. It was really interesting. Looking on ABC’s webpage, I see they cancelled the show just when it was getting interesting!

I watched a few episodes and it was interesting at first. It showed promise with the boss that had an agenda, perhaps an industrial spy or a traitor to the country, but then I lost interest as it became more and more outlandish. The appearance of other super-powered characters had potential but for some reason it became so predictable that I stopped watching. Too bad, it could have been a really good show.

I guess when it verges toward sci fi that is when I get really interested. They left the 1st season saying the family was needed by the government to help them out with their abilities. Too bad we won't see where the show could have gone.

Yes, they do seem to cancel the really interesting shows, don't they? Meanwhile, the boring ones go on and on...

I should add that I haven't seen any episodes of this particular show to judge whether it's interesting or not. Just sayin'

Its a one of the good show and having a lot of best episodes in it , i love to go with the same and have added them in mine best collection as well.
