Okay…now you would think someone would pay attention to the problems with our borders! 5 illegal aliens, armed with AK 47’s with the intentional purpose of hunting and killing our border patrol agents! And the one guy who was caught was one who had been picked up before and sent back to Mexico twice! What we are doing is not working. This episode resulted in one of our agents being killed!

The Border Patrol must be terrified to act. Look what happened when they do act the people that attack them are set free and they are jailed. Our Border Patrol Agents walk a fine line every day. If they cross the line they are punished and if they stay too far back they are in danger. One mistake ant it could cost them their life. They should have the government covering their back rather than watching them to see if they cross the line.

Yes, congress and the government have been so worried about being "politically correct" that things are really backwards in our country now. It's amazing that they don't see that.

Is there a solution? The fact that people are here ILLEGALLY seems to not even matter anymore! We have laws for a reason, true? Anchor babies is a ridiculous idea as is the idea that once an illegal has been here long enough, we should steal money from Americans to support them! But I can't imagine killing off families trying to escape from Mexico. Are they really desperate and trying to escape? Helping refugees is a good and noble thing but it's way past that now. Our government's complicity is staggering.

I don't believe the current administration cares a fig about our national security or a secure border. What he wants is to make the illegals legal so they can vote for him. AS for the "justice department," it's more like the "injustice" department. Our senators are not doing their job in vetting the Cabinet and justices. Our country is in deep trouble and if this administration is reelected we are sunk. Unfortunately, many people disagree with me. This county needs a large dose of education in economics and the Constitution they aren't getting in school to counteract the propaganda the press is helping to spread. I don't understand how people can be so gullible as not to question any of what they are being fed.

There are so many people who get all of their information from ABC, CBS, or NBC only. That makes them a little one-sided or one-dimentional in what they hear. some of us like to read online, and get other information from conservative watch dog sites like AFR.org or conservative byte, or WND etc. so we get a more rounded picture of what is really going on. Still, the public is fickle and if the present administration does something the public approves of or wants, they will be swayed to that side once again instead of looking at the bigger picture, such as trying to keep our country from collapsing.

The slime in Washington will only care if illegals come gunning for them. If anyone else gets killed, they will only laugh and pay Mexico more for the entertainment.

This has been going on for decades, not the overt killing but the looking away as our border has been violated on a daily basis. It's just escalating now. I don't know what the intention is--war with Mexico with the intention of taking it over? Making millions of Mexicans into voters? Either way, the insults to the American people are getting more and more blatant. It's building up to a climax that I doubt any of us will want but is inevitable as we reach the limits of our endurance economically and patriotically.
