Facebook a waste of time for some!

That's really a bad news to any companies which some of their employees addicted to facebook. Because the productivity of such person was lessen and the company will be production is also lessen if the workers didn't finished something... I think companies and government entity must change their systems to avoid this things to happen. No need to ban ban all over the country. They must filter only the company or government entity premises...

In my country, if I want to use internet from my working place to surf facebook and other social network between 8.00am to 5.00pm (GMT8.00) the connection will be block. Why they do that? Because they dont want their employees wasting their time at social network and leave their jobs. So the best time to surf facebook is when we have free time after working hours. Do not surf social network when working hours do your jobs and your responsibility to family.

Facebook is not to blame here but the people who choose to waste their working hours by being online on facebook. I use facebook to stay in touch with my friends. I play the games to relieve myself from the stress I felt during the day. Whenever I need to work on something, I make sure that I finish my tasks first before going online. People should learn how to discipline themselves.

For me Facebook really is a waste of time. That's why I don't even have an account. I don't understand how some people spend hours on it every day.I prefer reading a book or working out.But that's just my opinion. I know lots of people love it and are almost addicted to it:P I prefer Mylot. I learn more from it than I could ever learn from Facebook. Happy Mylotting! :)

Totally right. People are starving for some social happening, company, friends and so, and this is the best they can reach. To upload an epic profil picture, poking girls, liking statuses. However, its a great opportunity to keep in touch for those who use it with intelligence.

Facebook does become addictive. I think that is a problem for young people especially. They waste too much time on Fb, doing nothing useful. It is true, the network is also useful. You can find friends you've lost along the way and you can keep in touch with them. But I think it is a waste of tine.

I think that a lot of people waste time on Facebook, just by sitting and constantly refreshing the page over and over again for the whole of their day. I will admit that I do sometimes spend more time on Facebook than I probably should, however I don't think that I waste my time on it as such. I think that I have the balance right between social networking websites and spending time on other websites which I am able to earn some money on. I do enjoy social networking websites but we have to make sure that we don't waste our entire life on it.

yes i agree with you facebook is waste time of people.but not all it waste time of those who work in office and not doing there work due to facebook.but it is also good and helpful like me because i use facebook to chat with my family members so this site is really helpful to me.

Facebook can be time consuming I wouldnt exactly call it a waste though, Facebook if the number one source for information about other people. It also breaks down all kind of gossip lol, which that you can call a waste of time. But other than that facebook can help you reach just about anybody. facebook addresses are so common now a days they can be used like phone numbers it is almost manditary in some cases.

Yes, yes! the popularity of Facebook here in our country is phenomenal. It is like you are living ages ago if you don't have a Facebook account. But yes, some individuals really don't know how to control themselves in using Facebook. Some do idle around doing nothing in FAcebook to the point of being unproductive in life. They often moan about their current situations seeing their friends and other people posting and sharing their great and awesome life in Facebook. I do know many people doing such. To be honest, I am part of that group before. I used to play games in Facebook actively and addictively. I do idle countless hour in there doing simply nothing. I don't know why I wasted so much time in Facebook before. Good thing I have found myLot and other online earning sites which made me productive in the internet. Online earning also diverted me away form using Facebook for long and extended hours. Now, I just log in Facebook for a few minutes to check some updates every now and then. I still use it, but not as heavily as I have used it before. I am more active here in myLot that Facebook now. Here I can learn while also earning. I just used Facebook because most of my family and friends are in there and keeping in touch with them is a good thing Facebook can do for me.

For me it's a waste of time. It's way too slow on my computer or it's the internet connection I don't know. I can't play the games anymore so I don't go over to fb anymore.

I don't think facebook is a waste of time, Yes it is popular but think about it facebook can benefit you, i seen some companies that promote their business through facebook, people sell things through facebook, you can do many things with facebook, trust me it's a powerful tool. I think if they ban it people will rely on another social network, their is plenty of other sites. First myspace was all popular now it's a fail, same thing can happen to facebook.

I am not wasting my time with Facebook anymore since I discovered myLot. Some companies see the usefulness of facebook as they use it to help them better in Marketing. In fact every businesses have setup facebook. But companies should set limits on every employees. Some are abusing the company and using facebook all days, tendency is to lose focus on work. While some good employees know their limits. They know when to play and when to be serious at work.

yes im whit you i think the same but its a relly good way to for example get traffic to my web site i have a website and i still getting 40% of my traffic thanks to facebook sincerely is a good business for which we benefit thanks to facebook haha (its only my opinion haha lol)

Facebook is basically a good website. The significant increasing of users is one example how Facebook is really wanted by netters. I am one of examples why I like it, because my purposes being on the website is to socialize not more than that. I will come here every day to check back new updates of my friend. I found my colleague and friend from ten years ago and they were all happy to befriended with again with me even if we can't see each other directly. I don't want waste my time to stay on Facebook whole day every day, because I have many other things that I needed to do in my life. So, I don't agree if Facebook was a waste of time. To some extent, Facebook is waste of time if they don't know what it is in the Facebook. We know we can make money in Facebook as well and for some business it is a good place to promote their business goodness because Facebook is visited by nearly 500 million people in a day. So, why we say Facebook is a waste of time ?

If an employee supposed to be working during office hours, is doing fabebook , then it is a waste of money for the company. Those type of employees are dishonest, because they know that doing Facebook during office hours is not what they are being paid for. But facebook is useful in our personal lives, because it connects us to family members , relatives and friends , that are in a far place from us.

For me FB is not a waste a time because I don't waste my time on it,I only go there 15 minutes daily,to talk with the family and friends.But I don't like to spend my time over there.

Well, here in America, Facebook is relatively popular and most businesses and individuals use it to market and network themselves! People, like me, use it for recreational purposes and now I actually consider it to be a waste of my time, so I don't really use it anymore other than to check friend requests and upcoming events! The addiction to Facebook is real so that's why I stopped using it in order to be better focused on my earnings here! MyLot serves as my social network now!
