WIFI in our HOUSE

Hey mylotters! I am really glad now that I am able to surf the internet because there is already a WIFI installed. I can use my laptop in the kitchen, TV area or in the balcony. It is very nice. I like it very much. I am actually using Edimax 150Mbps Wireless 3G Broadband Router. What can you say about this? Do you also have WIFI in your house?

yes my friend I have 2 in 1 router wired and WIFI and I use both at a time it's really best one.

@cearn25, I heard from somewhere that when using WIFI through cable isn't sesure enough than ADSL. While using cable, neighbor can easly connect except through ADSL.
Today, while using WIFI in home, all deviced need to usig router password which locate usually at back of router, that should be secure enough by not giving password to anyone!

yaa I agree with earningmember you set password you WIFI network or modem then without permission no one use your WIFI.

I have two internet connections, because of our business, we need a back up. (Though there's nothing we can do if both decides to go down at the same time LOL). I had both connection on Wi-Fi, so whatever works, I can use it anywhere in the house. I think it is very convenient, as I can work even from bed.

I surely do! I can use my pc being connected to my ip and my laptop through my network server still using same WIFI!

Congratulations to us who are able to experience the wifi magic! We all benefited from. I hope we use the internet in a good way. Let us not be abusive. Wifi provides us an easy and comfortable life. I thinks that is one main reason of the birth of technology.

Yes we do have a Wifi at home too 
This is really good especially when not only one person is having a laptop at home. And we don't need to be only in the room to use the laptop, or just be in the living area until evening.

Oh yeah. It is very convenient. WIFI makes my internet access a lot easier. Now I can roam around in the house having no problems with my intenret connection since it is not wired anymore. With wired, you only stay in one place and your stucked in it like forever.

Hi there, I'm glad that you are enjoying your WIFI. However, I don't own have a WIFI. What I have is broadband. The speed is not very fast though and it cost approximately 15 us dollar monthly. Well, as long as it allows me to surf the internet and online gaming, I pretty much have no complains =P
I do have WIFI at my campus though, unfortunately the line is not good and some places are not covered. Another thing that makes it worse would be that the administrator blocking a lot of internet content.

That's okay. What is important is that your able to access the internet anytime you want. It doesn't matter if it is wifi ready or wired. My monthly intenet costs 28 bucks. Also in our school we have a wifi and its free. The sites that were restricted by the school are facebook and youtube. Other networking sites is also counted.

@squallming, ours is also a broadband but we can connect thru wifi. All you need to have is a modem/router and you then can throw your cables

Nice,WIFI in the house is a nice idea.You can internet in any place in the house.In our house,it might not applicable cause I'm the only one who is internet addict hehehe.
