My father always told me that "prayers are always answered, but its not always as you expects it to be" .. When you pray for a car, He will; give you a job. When you pray for happiness,He will give you friends. When you pray for food,He will show you how to plant. Why does he always need to give solutions when you asked for an answer? Have you asked that question before?Or your prayers are always answered directly as you want it to be? Do you have prayers that are still unanswered till now? Be patient guys,He is just teaching us how to be..

Hi tamirs Almost all my prayers were answered the day I got married to my wife. The only few that remain today are quite simple ones - I want her to be happy from the cores of her heart and I want to get back to earning so that I can contribute my part when it comes to family matters.... For me, this is the only wishes that I really want to come true... Almost everything else can be managed with what the Lord has given us.

Oh No... your question was about asking from God. I dont need to ask Him for the lollipops. My beloved friends get me those and when/if they dont, I ask them Maybe a shameful act but I cant help it... there are somethings that I can always do with friends

We need to really worked hard in order for our prayers be answered. If God just gives us everything we asked for, I think there won't be any good person on Earth anymore. All of us will start abusing Him. So God teaches us how to be patient and how to work hard for what we want in our life. I have a lot of answered prayers. It just took me some time and some hard work to achieve it. It's all worth it.

I guess I'm not praying right. i don't ask G-d for happiness or a car, I just Thank Him When I get the car or I find myself happy. Most of the time I send a quick thank you when a little thing goes well. I made the bus. My favorite task was left for me!

Thanks. No It is the opposite. I don't ask because I am not sure I deserve what I'm asking for. That is why I say thank you.

Dera sarah, there are no right or wrong prayers,as long as it comes from your heart.Maybe you dont ask anything because you know He will give it to you even without asking.. And saying thank you is a very good prayer.

Prayers are answered in his way, as you said it is in a way to teach us. If you need a car, then getting a new job will give you the money to save for that car. He answers in his own mysterious ways.

hello dear, Prayers are to say our thanks and asks forgiveness. Yes, to asks what we want. Thu, God knows what we want and need in this life- and we don't need to keep asking it over and over again. Sometimes we feel our prayers are not granted- there is always a reason why it is not being granted. It might cause us trouble or will give us harm so it is not given

Well, the way I was taught was that He indeed answers all prayers but sometimes He says..NO!..because He provides us all our needs. Just cuz we want it don't mean we need it..Yes, I have prayers in the queue. I just figure they will be taken care of when the need is right..Enjoy!

Hi tamirs You are right prayers are always answered. I believe that prayers are answered if someone truly believes in god, and pray to god daily even when you are happy or sad. There are some people who remember god only when they face problems, and if their prayers are not answered they say there is no god. I did not ask the question before because I think that god does not cheat or ditch like human beings he knows only to help the people who really believe in him and are in need of him and who believe to lead a truthful life. I don't have any prayers to be answered because he has always answered me when ever I asked him for help. You are right god is teaching us how to be and it is our duty to learn that.

Dear, even those who don't pray for blessings are given solution to each problem. But because they don't believe, they don't see that the blessings are just right there waiting to be notice.. And you are right, when you believe, answers are right there before you ask for it..

a pleasant day tamirs, honestly, it seems like all my prayers are not yet answered. i keep on praying hardly for it but still God does not give me the responses. as you have said, be patient, and i am doing it. hence, i am really wondering, why my prayers are still in vain.

It occurs to me before aira,i thought i am not getting anything however i pray, But after sometime, there are lot more things He wants me to do and to get than those i ask him to give me..And really now,i know that he did that to make me see that there are lot of things to do and to get that will make me a better person than those i wanted. Look around..maybe theres more than what you asked for.

Isn't it amazing that God is really creative in answering our prayers. Yes, i still have some unanswered prayers, but i am so hopeful that he will give it to me someday. But answered prayers are already numerous. I just keep on praying.

I totally agree, god definitely does work in mysterious ways, he opens doors for us to get ahead, but at the same time he makes it a challenge instead of making things easy for us, which in the long run makes us appreciate them more. When things are just given to us, we tend to not appreciate it them as much and at times even take them for granted. Personally I think that the majority of my prayers have been answered. I am happily married and have been for 11 years, have two gorgeous children, I own my house and my children have food and roof and I have a job as well as for my hubby. So yes I think that most of my prayers have been answered.

When we pray, we must keep in mind the following: 1. Know the nature of God to whom we pray. God possesses and is really the source of wisdom, aside from being the God of love. This means that He knows what is good for us ALWAYS. I presume that you acknowledge that God's wisdom and thoughts are so much higher than our thoughts, just as the heavens are higher than the earth. Further, God has power over time. He knows when is the appropriate time to give what He perceives to be good to us. 2. Know the Biblical wisdom of asking something from God. "Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." -- Psalm 37:4 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." -- Philippians 4:6 "I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands without wrath and doubting." -- 1 Timothy 2:8 1 Kings 3:10-13 granted Solomon wisdom out of his desire to rule his people well and not asking for things for his personal gain. Ergo, when you ask for something for the benefit of others, God is pleased and will grant beyond what you ask. Matthew 6:5-14 teaches the manner of how we pray as discussed by Jesus Christ.

Yes prayers are always answered . God says yes and gives you what you want . He says no and gives you something better . He also answers not yet and gives it to you in due time. When you pray never expect God to talk back ... And when you pray be specific .

The purpose of prayer is to gain salvation through forgiveness of our sins. It is not to satisfy our everyday needs and material wants. That is vanity. God who loves us gave us free will to live our lives. Prayer brings us closer to Him.

Here is my late response. I talk about this with people on the UFO conversations also. We have a tendency to think that someone way more intelligent than us, will think like us. There is no way we can think like God. So when we pray to Him for something, we think in our way and don't understand why He doesn't seem to answer. God is so far above us in intelligence, that many times we won't understand why He does what He does. Sometimes what He does is or will help us in ways we never think of. Other times, maybe we don't really need what we pray for. Sometimes they seem to be unanswered when actually, they are (in a different way or form.)

I believe solutions given to us on our prayers is way of our Lord on how we can be acquited with each other . He wants to teach us how LOVE and SHARE each other blessings in which all of these come from HIM . He also wants to impart to us that there is a right solutions , right time , right place and right person who can handle the problems for you.

Yes you are, God give what we want only when we are ready to receive and we won't get crazy about that. Sometimes the people say "I asked for a car but he didn't give me that, I think is because if I am as proud and arrogant, without a car only God knows how I will become with more blesses",so God prepairs us to receive the bless working in our character. But God is always on time.

prayers go up in series. if you have one wish fulfilled, you have another one in your mind and then after the next one. chain goes on and on and its never ending. i too pray to god daily and i have many wish fulfilled in one or the other way. but i don;t ask for small things like car or some materialistic thing. i pray for the well being of my family and ask him to give me strength to take proper care of my family members.
