I bought angry birds products in Baclaran last Sunday after hearing mass. My idea is to bring it home to my kids and have fun with the items. They offer wholesale for a cheap price. I bought an ATM card style angry birds collectible 20 pcs (P5 each), 20 pieces scratch card angry birds stickers (P3 each). I also bought a piece of angry bird wallet for her to use and play for just P50. My daughter loves it and asked me if she can have some to sell to her classmates. I just said, why not. After school now, she's happy that she made money out of selling the products and asked me if she can go with me to where I bought the items because her classmates asked for more *lol. She just add P2 to the original price of the item with my permission... not bad! She's in 4th grade by the way. Well, will you let your kids to sell something in schooll like what I did? I'm still in a process of weighing things if I should or should not let this happen again.

As long as the school rule does not prohibit them from doing so, I don't see the harm in it. She is learning the ways of business and she would probably start to understand the value of money. You can teach her to start saving and how saving system works, etc. etc. That is a valuable lesson.

That is what I was going to say, because my son's school prohibits selling, so I wouldn't allow him to. Now if he wanted to sell with his friend's parents permission, that is different, or if he wanted to sell at a garage sale or booth somewhere.

I think the school just ignore them as long as they are not been disturbing much other students, as well as their teachers... Well, I should praise their teacher's too for molding them to be a well-behaved pupils as they really are. They really know how and when to behave... I mean, my daughter said she just do the selling in their breaks just for their classmates... and knowing their teachers are also inside the room, and they are just so quiet to make things their way... I'm worry free because I know everything is under control *lol.

Hi lhen,I can see that your daughter likes what she is doing. As long as she is not violating any rules in her school, why not?It is good to know that your daughter has a calling in business and she has her own way to earn.. But of course you need to tell her that her study is her priority as of this moment..

*lol... how I wish she has the ability to run a bussiness in her future! I love to see her to be a successful in any venture she wants to be in. Yes of course, studies should not be neglected. Well, she's good in school that's what we're happy about her. Although she always do her things as a normal child,... playing, surfing, watching... she's consistent to be one of the top in their class. Thanks tamirs!

hi lhenni! wow! a business man in a early age! I remember way back then when I was in high school. I ask my mom if she can buy me food to sell in school and will just give back her capital once I sold everything. I think that's my way of helping her. so instead of asking "baon" I use the money I earned from selling foods.:) the problem is it's prohibited in our school. so the stopped me for doing it. I think it's not bad. just don't let your kids sell things that related to gambling alright? love, charly

Hello zer0charly! Sounds like you are a business minded too zer0charly... ... in my daughter's case, she want to earn money because she wants to buy a smartphone... she has a total savings as of this time of almost 2k.. my husband, promised her to buy an android phone as a gift to her if she will be in Top 5 overall in grade 4 at the end of this school year. But she insisted to raise money on her own money to make sure she will have an android phone wether or not she's on top *lol. ... but of course, we see things favorable to her so, we're not worried! She's good not only in school but also as a sister to her siblings. Yes! no gambling... love, Lhenni

Thank you leon****** for saying that! Well, teaching someone as young as my daughter of 10 by herself... hmmm, I think she will learn that along the way of growing up. By seeing a good example to us her parents. We should be a good role model to our kids, right?! With that, I positively believe that my daughter will be on a right track.

Hi Lhenni! ur child is on her way to building her dreams and she's becoming more a business minded person. thats great. considering nowadays, children just like to ask and ask then spend and spend. be thankful that your daughter is different. Just tell her not to over do it. or else, her studies will be affected. or worse, the principal will be knocking on your door for explanation. =)

sounds funny my friend. You just teach your daughter how to have a business as early as her age, and that was good for me. I remember when i was in grade 1 i did that also, my mother gave me allowance for school but what i did i bought a chocolates, biscuits and candies to sell to my classmates. It was funny because my teacher scolded me because according to her i'm competing her business too.LOL. i really enjoy that experience because i have a lot of money at that time. :D

Your teacher finds a rival with you goodgurl! that's really funny *lol... In my school days, I want to sell something too but I end up not to because I thought that maybe there's no one to buy... and I will be upset if that's so. As I see my child behaving as she is, I think she's not like me that fear nothing in the essense. Well, I'll just let her enjoy what she's doing of course with limitations! Thanks for dropping by goodgurl!
