December 25th was his birthday, right? So as per Sun signs - he was Capricornian.
I have no issues with that. I like Capricornians. I find them sensible and logical and practical - may be because they have symmetrical horns. 
But I do feel they are possessors of many such good qualities that I seem to lack most of the time. I secretly admire them because I want to be like them. You see, I am a Cancerian.
I get along very well with Geminians. I find them fun-loving. Saggitarians - yeah I have a fiery brother in that category and while our brain wavelengths are truly divergent, I know he will be the first one to come to rescue me should things go awry. Leos - I share a 50 : 50 relationship with them - we call it kamsi kamsa in our group. And Aries - I have yet to meet one who doesnt feel like protecting me.
I also like Aquarians, even though they can be very frustrating, especially when they are blonds. 
So...what I was saying was, these are folks I am not supposed to get along well with, but I do.
My question to you all is - have you found that good relationships do not conform to the rules defined by Linda Goodman, and many others, whichever is their Zodiac sign?

You have quite a lot of knowledge in this astrology, to be sure! Not only do you know enough about all the signs & what they mean in people, but you know also enough not to believe in them whole-heartedly & with a good deal of relaxed humour.
Many scholars seem to agree on a date around March 1 when Jesus was actually born, but there are a great many other well-supported proposals out there. I'm still trying to find the discussions where I listed them all as well as the supporting arguments, but I still can't find them - or I would have been the second responder to this discussion.

Never mind - it is as you rightly guessed - humour. Wanted to see how many people really go about making friends and enemies based on zodiac signs and whether they do realize that such things are really nonsense. :)

There's several possibilities out for poor Jesus - it seems no-one really knows for sure! I'm still searching for that post. I've heard August was once a popular one. I think just about anything is fair game, so long as it's not December!

Jesus was a Capricornian.
Rama was a Cancerian, as per the Moon sign though.
Your favorite Lakshman was also a Cancerian.. Like you ( by Sun sign)
Cancerian love Geminians but they would have incurred heavy financial losses because of them as per Moon sign I am talking about)

Read and analyzed those sets of books from Linda Goodman (there were about three of them) during college when astrology seemed to be exciting...
Now, my problem is that I was born on the last day of Virgo and the First day of Libra. I know Linda puts me in Libra or Virgo (dont remember exactly where, today) but whatever, I find appearances of people and the air they have around them more useful in deciding how well I go with them or not.
Today's relationships are decided and ruled by many other factors and normally astrology plays a backseat role.

. All I know is I am a Libra/Scorpio cusp.
I don't think much about other people's sign either. I have no idea who I am supposed to get along with and who are my enemies. For that reason, I seem to be getting along well with most people.

Well, you would confuse even Linda Goodman.
Becoz Scorpio women are not well known for diplomacy, but Libran women are. So take your pick.
Just a random analysis - which of your friends have zodiac signs that Linda Goodman says you should get along very well with. And vice versa, check the zodiac signs of friends with whom you are not very compatible.

Thanks to you, I started reading the Linda Goodman Sunsigns on her blog (I'd give the link, but GAA mentioned blogs are not allowed) sunsignsbylindagoodman at blogspot.
Anyway, long story short, my head is now filled with all my good attributes. I never knew I'm supposed to be beautiful and stuff.
Some of them are true but then they are so vague that it could apply to anybody.
Unfortunately, I haven't yet found the compatibility scales. I would have like to test that one.

Astrology is more complicated than the sun sign, as you surely know. I am a Taurus, by the way. I have a sister who is cancerian and a sister who is capricornian. I suppose to get along with them but I found it difficult. but I know astrology and I know it is mostly right. I even open astrological maps as a hobby.
I have read in some place that jesus didn't really born in december 25th and only have been baptised than, so maybe he was a saggitarian. but he can be any sign, I don't think there are any evidences of his birthday, or I am wrong? I don't know alot about jesus because I am jewish but the sign that is most suitable for him is piscese.

I don't think astral or astrology controls our life or fate. It is our work or 'karma' that makes our fate. Jesus was a Capricornian is not so important, his teachings are more important to mankind.
Anyway, i dont believe astrology.

Virgo and Libra are the two stars that I get along well with and to some extent the star Gemini which is my star too. I find the capricornians and sagi's that I have met are cunning and they are jealous of me.

I dont know why but I do have a vague affinity for Geminians. I would find it odd considering the fact that Linda Goodman is drilled into our heads from very childhood. :)
The Capricornians that I came across have been very nice with me. In fact, they have been people who have stood up for me. So has a Libran. I do have to Sag aunts who are or were terrible. But so was a Cancerian aunt, Taurus aunt, and Scorpio aunt. I am supposed to get along very well with these three!!!

i think we already aware that December 25 are not the true birthday of Jesus Christ, we simply make a day of date so that we can celebrate His birthday,
just like we sometimes extend our birthday celebration to another day because the exact day to have a party is not valid because the celebrant are not available on that day to celebrate his birthday....
and besides, planet pluto is no longer a planet, therefore, our zodiac sign adjusted to another different month...

and even wrong dates it doesn't matter i think, because we need to celebrate for His birthday,
even my own birthday i can't assure that it is correct too but i need to celebrate my birth day no matter what day it is,
or even extended to a day which is compatible to my friends date so that to eliminate absents due to incompatible because of their work, duty, or job...
Sunday is the most preferred day because most of the people who attend are no work, day-off and the food and drinks are waiting so lets enjoy the party, fun, and enjoy life because we live only once on this 80 years expiration life on this world....

Hi vandana7! Hmm, I do believe that Jesus was not born on December 25 but we, Christians, celebrate it on that day nevertheless.
As to your main question, I sometimes agree with the general characteristics they attribute to a certain sign. (I do not read Goodman books but I do look at several sites to know the different signs attributes.) I, a Capricorn, am very compatible with Taurus, Cancer, and Scorpio; quite compatible with Virgo, Pisces and another Capricorn. I do have a higher proportion of friends who belong to these signs than those not mentioned. It is easier to befriend people from these signs because of the interests and the temperament that we share. However, it is not impossible for me to get along with Leo, Aries, etc.
Although it is fun to read predictions made by astrologers, I do not think the predictions are true. Furthermore, I do not want these predictions to rule over my life.

Believe me I tried to follow them or let them rule my life for a while to see whether it really is true, but I found that it is not. My best relationships are with Geminians! However, when I was young - it was Virgo and Pisces. Something must have happened in between. LOL

It's a pity Ms. Goodman was not born during the time of Jesus else we could read her name on the Bible doing horoscope. - just kidding!
In anycase, although I am fascinated by the alignment of the stars and how constellations and horoscopes attributed them I still find it hard to believe that whatever emotions and traits I have are due to my being a Piscean (Feb. 22).
But believe me, whenever I read on horoscopes it always make me wonder so much how they coined the things written on the pages. Kinda weird and stoned.

I agree with your comment about Ms. Goodman.
And the worst thing is they make Pisceans sound to be such cry babies..wonder what Ms. Goodman has against Pisceans.
I agree they play with words in such a way that everything seems like happening to us and when we read it again at the end of the day even after nothing happens, we feel that everything happened the way it was mentioned. LOL.

Hi Vandana.. I have never given this a lot of thought. I have lived believing that one's nature, attitude and honest decide whether I can gel up with him/her... Zodiac signs, well I never thought of it. Reading their forecast for the day has always been a fun thing...

Artistic, I dont know about that. Egoistic - I think that is the biggest drawback. They are unwilling to accept that they have one. Even if they accept it, they never fail to get even for having forced them to accept it. But as I said, all are not alike.

Most people agree that Christmas is not the birthday of Jesus. Actually very little is known about the life of Jesus , and most of that can not be substantiated. That Jesus ever lived in Palestine has never been physically proven.
There is some evidence that he was a Great Yogi, and Teacher, but beyond that its all Hype!

hi vanday I am a scorpio Nov.15 and was married to a Capricorn who was so m uc h fun to live with as he was always upbeat and sunny and made me laugh and smile, and yes sensible too. we seemed to complement each other. oddly my children were both Gemini born 11 months apart.Yes Geminis are fun loving. We lost our little girl at age 8. My son is now almost 53 but does not look that old or act it. lolCapricorns are easy to live with and you miss them a l ot when they are gone.

There are people who don't believe in Horoscope and there are others who do believe in all this, even I think these things do affect our life but at the same time I know that it's not the only thing that affects our life.
I mean, judging people only on the basis of their sun sign is not good there are so many other things which should be considered before deciding the character of any individual.
E.g. Date of Birth, Time of Birth, Location, Year etc does matter.
