I installed a couple of games to be played offline on my laptop but after few restarts i got an error screen (blue screen) prompting me to restart my laptop. Do you think it has something to do with.the programs that I've installed? What are the usual reason for that blue screen?

Hi Stuckonu!
It looks like the video card is on its last leg.
The games you installed might have force the video card to overheat due to high graphic requirements of some games.
Try to disconnect your video card and then, reseat it properly. You may also try to disconnect your memory card and other hardware and reseat them properly. You are lucky if the blue screen problem is cause only by a loosen parts inside your laptop.
Other reason is incompatible game version on your operating system that cause the corruption of system files in your OS.
Or, a virus attached to one of the game that when installed will disable the loading of your operating system.

Hi there stuckonu! I can probably help you more, if you can give us more details about your problem. I had this situation when I installed several platform games in my PC. Blue screens are somewhat kind of mechanisms of your operating system so that further damage to your machine can be prevented. If there are failures, your operating system shuts it down, which is the blue screen. There are different kinds of blue screens. If these are about games, it's probably because of some system files like dxgmm1.sys something, or page faults, like your memory can not handle the requirements of the game, or sometimes when you installed the game in an inapporiate build of Operating system. For example, if you want a 64-bit operating system, you need to have 6GB of RAM. IF you have something lesser than that, use a 32-bit operating system. These simple procedures can prevent BSOD's. I hope you resolve your problem soon, and remember to always read program specifications first before installing applications. Have a nice day!

Yup, try uninstalling the game. And ya, taking of the error message is hard because it restart so fast. You can also try looking up on the task manager and see if there are background process that eats up a lot of memory where in fact, you didn't know that they're running. Then probably just shut down those background process you don't need.

When there are issues with the Opertaing System, you will find such messages. I strongly believe it has something to do with your games. Games are highly prone to trigger some virus programs that can damage your disk. Specially if you use the games to play online! Better, format your system and install the Operating System again.

there are 2 reason:once are the games already replace your system file and make your windows file corrupt, another once is your system no reach the requirement of the games

Alright. Then, should I need to uninstall the game or I cannot do anything from here? When you say that it was replace, can it be restored to its previous setting? Is it something serious or once I got the blue screen, it means that the error was already fixed? Thanks for your comments.
