I've done four lenses now, my most popular one is actually a list that helps people doing the newest hep c treatment, a couple are about the newest Batman games. I was getting a bit desperate for views so I started looking for more tips on how to keep your lens up and updated.
In my searching I found a pinging site that is purely for squidoo lenses, it has a lot of tools to see how well your lens is doing. Some of the things it pointed out to me was my lens photo didn't match any of my tags, though I haven't fixed that problem yet. I can kind of see why it might be needed, search engines might be spotting the file name in the HTML doe or something, but I don't think its that big of a deal. There are quite a few other things on it that can help, squidutils is definitely going to be useful when I do more lenses.
Also in my search I found a lens that gave quite a few tips on what you can do for your lens. One of the things that caught my eye is a widget you can add to the lens, I recommend adding it to the very bottom so its out of the way. Using a widget such as the google news one, your lens can register as updating daily without you doing anything to it. I added this widget to my lens a day or so ago so I shall see how well it will do.
Oh and just one small update from me, I found out I've actually made a bit of money! Not a lot, just 40 cents or so but still I am super excited for that happening!
So do you guys use tools like this to help with your lens? How well have you seen them work? Are there any others you can suggest to me?

Hi gothtini
I had been a member of squidoo but I have not written a single article yet.
It seems the site is more complicated than triond, bukisa and similar sites.
I had searched squidoo lenses and it seems the author stick to one topic.
My questions are these:
Are you going to submit all of those topics under your lense in one submission?
What is the minimum word count of one article?
I can also see photos related to the article.
Thank you for your help.

I see thank you for taking time to reply.
I still have one question though.
Does it mean to say, if you have one article, that is one lens?
I mean, one lens is one article so that if I want to write about gardening, that is one lens and maybe some other times, if I want to write about earning online that is another lens and so on and so on.

I also have four lenses and I've been very disappointed in the traffic. Two of my lenses were selected for the "UpMarket" magazine, and still only gotten a total of 8 views!
I would love to learn where you found the widget and what ping site you're using because I'm trying to learn about this stuff now.
