Dandruff cure

I have tried virtually every anti-dandruff shampoo (Clear, Head and Shoulders, VCO, Gard, etc.) being advertised here in our country but still my dandruff was coming back. I think the factors that affects/triggers it on my case are stress, hereditarian and polution. Stress - because I work in a very stressful industry (call center) plus there are also stressful situations outside of my job. So, I was pretty sure that it is one of the factors that triggers my dandruff.
Then, there's also the genes factor. I remember when I was young, my aunt have the same problem. Everytime she scratches her head, dandruffs fall. Now I have the same problem, although sometimes an anti-dandruff shampoo will work for a couple of days before the dandruff comes back.
Lastly, the polution here in our city was very severe so I won't be surprise that it will be another factor why my dandruff is coming back.
Have you found the best solution for dandruff yet? Can you share it with me? Thanks! :)

Hi!
I'm not sure if this is true but it was discussed in one of my classes that anti-dandruff shampoos do not really cure dandruff. They just cool your head to avoid you from itching and scratching. I get dandruff once in a while when the weather's too hot or if I'm stressed too much and I use Sunsilk's anti-dandruff shampoo. It doesn't get rid me of my dandruff because it comes back again and again, but it helps clean my head and prevent itching and scratching.
They say gugo is effective but I have not tried it because I don't know where to find it.

We should really bring back those indigenous products that are really effective.

My boyfriend had the same problem like yours. I remember he used sukang tuba (coconut sap vinegar) w/ a little mixture of Calamansi juice. Just massage it on your scalp, leave it on for 5 minutes then rinse it off. Repeat the process at least once a week. Try it. Believe me it does really work!

I'll try that when we go to the province. It's just that sukang tuba is not that common here in Metro Manila. However, my father in law is culturing (or couturing, I don't know what the correct term is) that. Is it a permanent cure though? I know that you have to apply it every now and then but does it need to be applied every so often?
Thanks for this tip.
