If you can own small island, would you live there?

I could only do a couple of weeks and I think after one I would want more human contact. I am used to missing my girlfriend now its my way of life, but more than 2 weeks without seeing her is a bind now, if I know its going to be longer I become really miserable and don't enjoy anything for about a week or so, its just the way I deal with things.
So in conclusion, no I would not live there unless it was very sunny and I could make a community of all my friends / family and other cool people.

The biggest factor in it would be my girlfriend as right now she is pretty much the most important thing in my life even if I do have opportunities elsewhere as they would be voided by being on this island. Is it me or do I keep replying to your topics?

If I owned an island then I would have to assume that I was loaded with lots of money. As a result I would definately live on the island (only if it were a tropical island!). I would live there with my family and would fly in friends on occasion for some interaction with the outside world. As money wouldn't be an option I would also leave the island to visit friends and extended family.
Island life would be very easy with internet access. I think I would be happy there for ever.

I agree, you wouldn't need money on the island. But to come and go from the island and bring in friends when you want to have visitors you might need the money for the boat/airplane/helicopter to get them there....

I would love to live on a small island regardless of if I had internet or not. It must be so relaxing to have your own island so close to the sea.

yea i could live there. YOur island would have to be close to another island with a big city, because im not good at gardening. I dont think i could eat fish everyday. The island would have to be big enough for my family and a few that want to live there to. I would have a small town on this island.

wouldn't that be great? hmmm...you don't have to eat fish...you can eat fresh fruits and vegie. Tropical weather will give you a chance to walk with minimal cloths, fresh water you could use for almost everything....
seet dreams....

The hero of Daniel Defoe's novel Robinson Crusoe of 1719, a shipwrecked English sailor who, by virtue of his own ingenuity, survives for years on a small tropical island.
