The tv would be the first to go for me since I do not watch it that much anymore and spend more time on the internet. Too many reruns on tv and sad and depressing news and can get everything off of the internet.

Great answer, we need less sad and depressing stuff. Since when is other people's hardship good entertainment?

I would give up the TV first because I can do so much more with the internet. For me, TV is a waste of time. I only watch probably not even two hours of TV each night. And I cannot live without my myspace! haha... I hate myspace. But I could not do without mylot! hahaha

Hi Jotal76, I agree I would give up TV any day for the internet. I learned what I know about the computer on my own and I enjoy it as I will spend hours at a time on the internet. I got hooked when I started searching for college scholarships for my one and only granddaughter. I just never did quit looking and I am fairly good on the internet about doing anything I want to do. I don't mean that as a brag but just that I have had no training other that on my own.

I would definitely give up the t.v. I hardly ever turn it on anymore. The kids turn it on when they get home from school and hubby watches at night. I get so disgusted once pbs shows are over. It seems like I am forever telling them to turn off the t.v. because the show is too adult for them to hear. It is a little hard to keep them from watching the shows hubby is watching. Oh I sure would love to unplug that t.v. for 30 days. The internet...sniff, sniff... I can not quite imagine going 30 days without the internet. Of course, I might get more exercise and actually have a clean house but I sure would miss it.

I would give up by tv before I would my internet as I rarely ever watch tv. I find that there is not much on and I don't see a lot of interesting learning on television as I do here. I would find television much easier to live without!!

Ofcourse TV, without any doubts. Im not so addicted to TV. So its ok for me to give up watching TV for a month... but not internet. I spend almost half a day in the internet. My work, chats with friends, myLot and many other things to which im addicted ;)
How about u? What would u give up first?

That's a no brainer - television. I make my living on the internet, so unless I wanted to go broke I'm thinking television which I don't watch much anyhow could easily be given the boot. Afterall, the majority of the shows I do actually watch from time to time can be watched online anyhow.

i would first give up TV. coz internet is the most interactive thing in this world as it offers a host of servises. what does a TV give ? some sloppy soaps, songs, games, news.!!
the internet has a lot more to offer than just playin games and watchin like a dumb!. u can remain in touch wit all ur friends even if u r locked up in a room. !!! the internet offers what we want. and the TV offers what we dont want ! as simple as that..

Hi Savak, Welcome to myLot. I agree it is absolutely amazing that Pola has responded to every single response. She always replies to anyone that does respond in any of her discussions. I do also and once you have been here for a while you will find that the people who do this have built some very good friendships through this type of interaction. Yes Hats off to Polachicago. Huggles. Ellie :D
