I had not thought much of it til I was trying to find a topic for
a discussons and realized we all have two coumt downs going on.
As human beings we are all counting down to 2012 an some are scared of the phrophesies but as I have seen these over and over in my own life I am not scared. anyway what the heck could I do about it? but we mylotters, at least the ones really wanting to make a bit of money are counting down for today and tomorow then its cut off time.I confess I get a little excited at this double count down. your take fellow mylotters?

hi ElicBxn and Garden Gerty I was just thinking of the first year I was here. our room backs onto the back of a huge Vietnamese store. and all of a sudden we kept hearing these huge explosions of fire works, Vietnamese new year and Chinese new year. they kept firing off fireworks for several hours. I don't know if anything is
scheduled around here. I have made 22 dollars and o1 cent so am hoping to add two dollars so I have more than half my cable net bill of 40.99 cents why on earth don't they just call it 41 dollars? lol lol Happy New Year to you bo th

I am looking forward to the new year because I have a job now. Of course, I would like to be online more, and will get to be as my schedule settles in. I will be shadowing people for about another week learning about different clients, etc. I fell far too short this month to be overly excited about the end of the MyLot month, but I am enjoying myself anyway. I like to be able to read everything, and answer just what I choose. I want to wish you a great New Year in advance, Hatley. I am unsure about how much I will be online the next two days. Hard to fit the computer around twelve hour shifts.

Yes, you have it right. I work with adult disabled clients in a residential setting. On my weekends I work two twelve hour shifts. During the week I work eight hour evening shifts. The clients go to Day Services away from their homes either in job enclaves at local companies or they work at the McPherson Industries, a sheltered workshop that takes contracts for things or provides a chance for piecework for clients who cannot handle stress of a fast factory line. In their homes I help with cleaning and cooking and making sure they have their medicines. This agency has some aging clients, and in fact my oldest client I have met so far was born in 1927, I believe. It is not hard work, but it is away from my home and my computer.

hi fwidman I envy you. I alw ays loved pretty shoes and u sed t o buy new ones then I injured my left foot and I had a quack for a doctor who did not know a ruptured tendon from a sprained ankle so my foot was not treated surgically to put it back where it belonged by the time I got referred to a podiatrist he told me I had ruptured
a tendon and too much time had gone by so it was not repairable surgically. so they put me in orthopedic clodhoppers with a brace to keep my left foot from rolling to the inside.I will have this for life now,. I still love pretty shoes. lol lol

I don't think I will make it this month. Right now I am at 8.75. I could make it to 9.00 by tomorrow. I have written some really long comments. But, I don't think I will make $10. Would be nice. Oh, well. It will just be that much more made for next month.
Thank you Hatley.
Have a wonderful weekend.

I have to work at the grocery store tomorrow from 10 - 5, then home to celebrate my teen's birthday. She is turning 15 at 8:46 p.m. on New Year's Eve.
I for one will not be hitting my $10 this month, I kinda of pushed mylot to the side because I was so hooked on Farmville for about a year. I quit cold turkey on Christmas day and haven't looked back.
With working two pt jobs (one can be full time depending on my daughter's school needing substitutes), I haven't had much time on mylot but am trying to get back into it.
Happy New Year Everyone!

I got the second job to help cover the expenses of high school for my daughter! She goes to a public school but between cheerleading and then her junior and senior years coming I wanted to be a head of the game. A friend told me that once they are in high school just keep your checkbook open! LOL
I am glad that your son is working, it is really tough out there. I was lucky and fell into this job, at the right place at the right time! Luckily both my jobs are within 10 minutes of my house so there is not a lot of wear and tear and gas on our car.
So sorry to hear about your hubby! Yeah I knew the entire time I was carrying my baby that she was going to be born on New Year's Eve, she was due on 1/7 but no one would listen. Told my mom not to get a dress for the evening- she did but everyone got to go out and celebrate after April was born at 8:46 p.m., even the doctor.
Yeah, don't start playing FV highly addictive but then the past six months they really started to change it because they got money hungry and when I finished I had four farms and there were so many quests to do that it felt like work!
Happy new year to you to!

before I started playing FV I blocked it because of all the requests. Then when my friend got me hooked two summers ago, it started out fun but Greedy Zynga went overboard. To be honest, I don't even miss it at all. I miss the people that I played with but not the actual game.

When I wor ked at the library I lived a half block away so just walked it mornibng and evening I had part mornings and part eves covering fot people on vacation and some who were fired too . they drove me nuts on facebook wanting me to give them tools and I was not even playing the game either., I was heavy into mylot and still am for that matter.its no fun when a game you like becomes like work at all.

Hi Hatley, i only do countdown to wish all my friends and family a happy new year celebration. Since i am still a few dollars away from the minimum payout this month, so i don't put any countdown on receiving earning from Mylot. But, i am welcoming the year of 2012 with an open-minded head. I don't feel scared by the prediction saying that the world will end in year 2012. I just hope that everyone of us will be having a positive way to solve all our money matters in this new year 2012. So, Happy new year 2012 to you and all in Mylot.

Hi Hatley
I am excited counting down and welcoming the New Year 2012. I am not scared at all those prophecies, I still believe that those are just mere prophecies and that we should not think about it too much. And yes, how many times it has been said that the world will end and it didn't happen. We all just have to live our life and make the best out of it. As for my earnings, I have reached and surpassed the minimum payout already but because I was so so busy this month and not so active lately I still won't reach $20/. Now this time it's myself to blame But it's okay I am still happy that I am earning from myLot despite being busy.
Happy New Year Hatley. Wish you all the best in the coming 2012.

We will be stepping earlier to the new year when the clock strikes 12.00 midnight tonight and it will be a tearful farewell for 2011 that has left many in sorrows following the many disastrous calamities that claimed thousands of lives in many parts of this world. Let us hope and pray that history won't repeat itself in this new year and that the world economic situation will improve. See you next year Hatley.

Well, I looked a lot more forward to the beginning of the new year than I looked forward to the start of the new month on mylot. The reason that I looked so forward to the beginning of the new year is because of the fact that last year was a really bad year for our family.
With the start of this new year, I hope that we will find health that is a lot better and more prosperity as well.

Hiya Hatley,
For me I just see it as another new Year I don´t believe all those predictions and all that stuff at all.
We let the New Year in here and we all eat twelve grapes and you are supposed to be making a wish or several wishes all at the same time. I did´nt buy any Champas as I did not want my youngest to put the half filled Bottle in his Car as he has gone out for the Night and if the Police stopped him he would be heavily fined and lose a lot of points too.
Hugs many and lots of good wishes for the New Year I don´t know if I have said that already lol.xxx

Hiya Hatley,
So far nothing really drastic has happened has it?
Should we wait a bit longer I ask myself and see what happens? Day before yesterday in the Night I was watching the Moon it was really low in the Sky really lovely to watch then all of a sudden it seemed to shoot up high in the Sky I don´t know if anyone ever notices that at all.
I have taken two lovely photos of the Moon as she was as it was really cloudy, murky and very cold too oh yes it gets really cold in Spain lol.
Same back to you Hats hope your New Year is a very good one indeed.
Things will get better for all of us the New Year is just taking its first steps into the unknown so to speak.xxx

After a few days to recharge my myLot batteries(have to do that every now and then after all) and also to recover from holiday insanity, I'm back. And rather glad that a new month and a new year. Almost a new week as well, but we quite did not hit that trifecta. So it is not a completely new start, but only mostly. Still it is a day that is full with much promise.
Sunday January 1st 2012, a day where I start rolling towards a new month and a new year. One day where I am really going to be happy to accomplish a lot. I remain positive and refreshed. So naturally I am at a really good place with my mindset right at the moment. As the clock strikes January 2nd, it is time to start writing. Let's get starting.

Hi Hatley,
I feel excited for such a annual countdown many years ago, but now, it has not much meaning for me, it is just another day for me. When people are still young, they will find such a occasion are interesting and feel excited about it, and look forward for it. But when come to money, I think everyone will be excited and look toward the day to come.
