Just about everybody makes some sort of New Years Resolution to change this or that in their life, I'm not gonna change a thing cause I'm perfectly happy the way my live is going
, i could use a few more $ in my pocket but other than that I'm alive and well so that's good enough for me.
Are you changing things this year?

hi dear missybear I am also happy with how my life is going right now. The things I want to change if possible, is to be more laid back at work. I get drown in work while others sit there and just look at the screen and dont do anything. I cant change this and have to accept it and I just need to calm down a bit more and do every day what I can and leave the rest undone.
Plus I want to catch up with the contents of the ironing basket a bit better as we switched responsibilities. My husband is disabled so he is the homemaker and I work so we can pay the bills so I said it would be great if you do the floors as I battle the herniated disc and I do the ironing instead. LOL

Nothing wrong with helping around the house more.
Sconibear is doing most of the house work since I'm the one working but sometimes he slacks a little and I have to get the whip out

I love your attitude, missybear! Hope you have another year feeling that way. My resolutions usually have more to do with altering a habit than changing things about myself. For example, I read a lot already but I have resolved to read more short stories this year. I could have said I would read a short story a day or something like that but I don't want to bind myself in that way.

Im with you on this one.
Im not changing a thing!
why do we need to wait for a certain day to make changes in our lives?
If you really wanted to change your life you could do it any day of the year!

That's right, people always wait for New Years to go on diets or quit smoking or change what ever they not happy with.
Why wait, do it now

I have no New Years Resolution, I am just going to do things that need to be done and hopefully things will get better for 2012.

I hope things will get better for everyone, that 2012 is the turning point for things to improve.

I feel the same way. I refuse point blank to ever make a New Year's Resolution. In fact, I think that about eighty percent(or more) of people who really are going to make a New Year's Resolutions are just lying to themselves. They feel obligated to do so, they feel obligated to say that they are going to make changes...changes that they really have no intention of making.
Myself personally, I think that I am in a pretty good place in my life. A place where there can be improvements but they will happen as they are, not because I make some flimsy weak fancy pants resolution. I could use a bit of this and a bit of that, but in time, things will come. In times, I will do many things, 2012 does have many possibilities and hopefully I can open the door to them all.

I think we could all use more money!! I would make resolutions if I could keep them. I think more of my resolutions as a bucket list *LOL* Cause odds are it won't happen before I kick the bucket!

Hello missy bear !
I can't say that I don't have wishes and desires, hopes and needs because I would be lying.
I have not managed to get a job after finishing my master's degree last summer, but have managed to volunteer for several NGO's both online (remote location) and offline that include quite impressive names like WWF Romania (that's the World Wide Fund for Nature), Big Cat Rescue, SaveTheFrogs!, Snow Leopard Trust, MaiMultVerde(More Green in Romanian) as well as volunteering as a Global Moderator at an online community. However none of this has brought me any income and that is becoming a more pressing problem as I can't expect my parents to support me much longer.
I have quite a few things on my plate as I have to get more information this year on how to move to England (from Romania, work visa and other stuff like that), complete my driving's licence( have passed the written exam, but still have the practical to come), completing my greek course I am on and passing that exam too, going for the CAE english exam, probably organising SaveTheFrogs day in april, and volunteer for EarthHour for WWF Romania etcetera.

Not much..I am pretty happy too. I am going to try and have a bit more time for me...fun time. I haven't painted in forever and it seems like all I do is work and go to school. I am usually too tired to do much of anything when I do have a day off. I am going to try and figure out a way to offset some of that though.
Other than that...I am ok.
It is great that you are happy enough with your life that you don't want to change anything! Sooo...I hope for your new year that there are no changes except for maybe that you hit a jackpot

Yes I have some resolutions in this new year.I wanted to make some changes in my home and some changes in the work place. If we are happy, we should try for the happier and to become the happiest. If we are happy, we should be more innovative. So I have some resolutions on this new year.
