Matthew 16:24 - Jesus said to his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him DENY himself , and take up his cross, and follow me . Can you leave everything behind, your dreams, ambitions, family, your worldly and sinful life, personal life and even your love ones, just for the sake of following Jesus Christ ? Please be sincere and be honest with your answer , Thank you :)

I would love to be able to, but I fall short of being able to do so entirely. I don't think anyone can do it completely. Only Jesus was so close to the Father that He could give up everything voluntarily to do what was necessary. I think that we often think we can, and maybe we do for awhile, but sooner or later, our own desires get in the way. We don't even always recognize them for what they are.

I understand you my friend, because this task ain't really easy to do . But in order to follow this, 1st we have to repent and surrender our will to Him, and be obedient to His will, no matter what . God Bless you my Friend :)

Yes, of course we do. I'm just saying that there is no one perfect enough (except Christ) who can do it completely, all the time.

We are merely human. Of course we are going to make mistakes and be stubborn sometimes. It is a wonderful feeling to know that my God who made me and loves me understands me and will forgive me. All I really have to do is believe, honestly try and ask for His forgiveness when I do mess up.

Of course. To me this means nothing in my life is more important than serving God. When the Holy Spirit points out something I need to give up and change to serve God more fully, I will give it up. We must be willing to go against our family members for the sake of our convictions to obey God, and stand up for the Word even when everyone else wants to go another direction. I believe taking care of my family is a part of my Christ-ordained ministry, but if the time comes when he would open the door and have me take another path, I will trust him to help me do his will and provide for my loved ones in my absence. I think more than radically leaving all the thing God has blessed us with, we must be radically willing to let the Lord lead us away from any of those blessings to serve him. He will always help us do the hard things if we are truly willing to follow him.

I think this meant that whatever we are experiencing right now in our lives, let us not do it our way, thinking we are good already, and that we know everything in our lives.. but we have to dedicate it to the Lord and to let him help us, let his will be the one we follow, and let him guide us...

Jesus spoke this word so this is not at all impossible. How could a God like Him demand something impossible? It would be very hard and highly impossible for those who really have not committed themselves to Christ but to those who are sincere to follow Jesus they always have Christ who would give them the strength to follow through because with Christ nothing is impossible.

we can deny to following Jesus, because He choosing us, not us who voted Him, like the Bible say " you did not choose me, but i choose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father, in My name, He may give you." (john 15:16 NKJV). so, if He choose us, we can deny...!
