Well winter has finally arrived in full force in so many places. there is nothing more comforting than something hot to drink to chase the winter blues away. I am a hot cocoa and marshmallows person myself. What hot beverage will you go after when the weather is cold outside?

I always enjoy either a hot cup of tea or else some hot cocoa with marshmallows. It is actually very cold here in South Florida this morning and I had to break down and turn on the heater finally. Hot cocoa sounds great right about now!
Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

I am so with you on the hot coca and marshamallows theme. I am sure that hot cocoa and south florida are not combinations you always think of in the cold weather. I hope that you do not have too many cold nights like that but you can still enjoy cocoa anyway. thank you for responding and take care.

I agree! Hot cocoa with marshmallows and hot tea are the best in the winter. I even drink hot tea during the summer though haha.
If you like juice, you should try spiced apple cider sometime! It's delicious :)

I like warm tea or coffee. Not too hot. I also like to eat fried banana when the weather outside is cold. After that watching television :)

I love hot chocolate when it's truly cold. It's also a nice going to bed drink. It makes me really sleepy and bed ready. I also like cocoa with marshmallows, if I have an choice in the matter.

Thre are some people that think that hot chocolate and hot cocoa are the same thing. they areally aren't. I find cocoa to be much creamier.Still both of these drinks will warm you up when it is cold outside. As for making someone sleepy, i have never had that problem with hot cocoa with or without the marshmallows.

Thank you for the response =. I believe that my mother would be with you on the flavored coffee. She prefers any of the vanilla varieties while my stepfather has to have it unflavored, but all of my family would agree with the cocoa.

I enjoy coffee or tea. Hot with creamer in the coffee makes for a warming treat. Flavored tea is great too. My grandson loves hot chocolate with the marshmallows in it. I have never tried hot dr. Pepper but would like to sometime. I am a pepper and otta know it both ways.

We all have a hot beverage that we like to relax with and find comforting to fight off the coold weather. I guess if we all liked the same things, what would there be left to taalk about. Enjoy your cup of coff or tea and wait for the winter to melt away.

I prefer hot coffee with cream and sugar. I have never been a real fan of hot chocolate, but I do drink it sometimes if the people I am hanging out with decide to have some. I also like hot tea every now and then, but coffee is definitely my favorite hot drink.

Something hot to drink warms the body faster than anything. Whether it is a steaming hot cup of coffee or a mug of hot chocolate, we all have different tastes and personalities. so should our choice of hot beverages. thank you for responding and enjoy the day.

If I'm not hungry but want something hot to drink, I'll make hot tea with lemon. However, if I'm hungry or desiring something sweet as well as hot, I'll go for hot chocolate and maybe some toast. I like dipping my toast in the chocolate.

I am still nursing my son, so I do have to watch what I drink. So these days, I will take hot water (yes, just plain hot water) - sometimes with a squeeze of lemon - and occasionally some hot chocolate (with or without marshmallows). I love warm milk too.
The old me would have said coffee with Bailey's and whipped cream on top - ha ha!

Hi sender: Here in my town is quite the opposite. Now it's getting hot after some months when it was raining almost everyday. Anyway, in winter or when I feel cold I love to drink a hot chocolate that makes me feel energized. I really love the taste of chocolate.

I'm more of a hot tea drinker. Any kind of tea, actually. Regular tea, green tea, oolong tea, etc. I will also drink hot chocolate, but I have to be in the mood for it and it has to have whipped cream. No marshmallows. I don't know why, but I just don't like those things floating around in my drink!

Thank you for sharing your views on hot chocolate. My sister-in-law is not a fan of marshmallows in her hot choclate. she prefers to use marshmallow creme instead. have you ever tried it? she says it is quite good.

Since the cold weather is here for a few months(and I mean COLD),I try to vary a bit so I would not get bored with the same drink.During the day,I will have different teas.Black,herbal,green.Sometimes I mix green tea with some fruity teas.In the evening after walking the dog(he does not care about the cold,he likes it!)I make a hot cocoa, and once in a while add some extra in it,like Kahlua,Bailey,Amaretto....just a little,to give it a different taste.

Those beverages both sound good for when the wather turns a bit colder. I guess it all depends on what you are in the mood for. Vanilla carmel does sound good right about now. Thank you for your response and keep warm.

Now I quite like hot chocolate, with or without marshmallows, and I'll do the coffee thing for a while, but I find I get tired of just those two and I don't drink tea. I find quite often I just drink hot water, boiled and cooled a little like a cup of tea/coffee, it's refreshing.

Thank you for the response/. Drinking hit water is a different idea. i am not sure I could go for being an unflavored drink though. You say that it is refreshing so there must be something to it after all.

I usually drink tea & hot soup during cold weather. But my hubby and kids would love to drink hot choco instead. I choose tea to avoid cravings for sugar and to have a relaxing feeling.

Hot tea and hot soup are very soothing and good for you too. i guess if you did drink too much hot chocolate you could be getting a lot of sugar but hot choclate does taste so good. thank you for sharing your response.

It doesn't matter to me how cold it is outside. I drink what i wanna drink that is see in the fridge. Well, i drink cold water anytime and any temperature it is. As for beverages, i sip Four Seasons all the time as long as they're available. I also drink apple juices and colas. Sometimes when there is iced tea i also drink it. To me, atmospheric temperature doesn't matter. I drink what i want, when i want.

I can see that the weather does not dictate your choice of beverage. You drink a variety of beverages so i am sure you will not be bored with your choices.
