So whats your next big project....

As the new year is here and we have a little over a year that we want to put the house up for sale...we have a huge list of things that needs to be done to the house.
My first big project is getting the kids room repainted... this will be a big improvement in their room, also I am on the lookout for a bunk bed for the older 2 kids to make the room more manageable in there. I cant wait to see the final results. I just know it is going to look great!!
I figure starting this will give the kids time to enjoy the room before we put the house up for sale.
Do you have a big project you are getting ready to start? Is it a room in the house or do you have another big project?

I have lots of projects in mind, but my first big project would be to finally put up the laundry business that my husband and I were planning for almost a year now.
We've been studying how the entire business works, from start to surviving and finally booming and expansion. We feel like this year is really the time to start this since we already have a niche market that we'll target.

We really need to do some reorganizing and painting in our house. We have been meaning to paint the walls in our small dining room space for about a yr. now and have even bought the paint. Want to make it not so plain looking for when we have company over for sure. Would also Love to redo the flooring in the kitchen and other parts of the house, and need to check and see how much it would cost to do so and consider budgeting it in. It takes a lot of time and $$ but sure worth it when you can do some upgrading for sure.

yes, that is for sure. our list for things to do around the house is pretty big considering our house is small. LOL so many updates but it will all be necessary and for resale value as well.

My bedroom. I have been going to do it for two years now. I have even paid my son in advance to recarpet the floor...but I have started somewhat. I got a new bedside table...and have bought the paint! Now...its just getting to it! Good luck with your project!

I cant wait to get started on my project, so far this past month I have been working on getting the house organized...there is still more to do but I have done well with what has got done so far. I want to start on the kids room in the next week... oh I cant wait!!

My next big project has to do with my writing and trying to make it so I have a grand total of 500 articles written for a site I write for.

Hello. My next big plan in this new year is to build an online profile for online business that might help me take an early exit from day job. Quite tough one to do, considering the equivalent of what I earn in my day job cannot be easily be matched by online jobs in the short term. It takes considerable work. For the past 20 days, I have been working for more than 12-14 hours daily. In simple terms, I'm trying to develop websites [including optimizing my existing blog] to make maximum earnings from various plans.
The next few months will determine if my determination & commitment were adequate or nothing more than luck works!

My next big project is a work reuion on the 1st of February for about 30 people, all invites have been sent out and there is one birthday which we are going to surprise one of the girls with, I have to go to the venue tomorrow to check I can bring a big cake and ask them if they have a trolley on wheels so we can set that up so as not to spoil the surprise until after the reunion dinner, then I have to order the cake and get everything else organized and my plan is only two of us is to know about the birthday part until the night...

This is not a big home improvement, but my next big job in the house will be this week. I have to rearrange my house so that I can fit a hospital bed into my living room. My husband is having surgery on Tues. and will no be allowed to climb steps for a while. We are hanging heavy curtains up to the windows, so that he definitely has some privacy and a blanket up to the doorway. It is going to be quite a two or three weeks.
