I'd say sometimes when we are in a different workplace, our diet changes accordingly. I actually noticed this with me when i moved from one company to another. Well, i have packed lunch when i was in the hospital and now in the new work; i think my diet changed too - I have been eating differently now than before, more into the available food around the building. hehe what about you? would you go out of your way to stick to your planned diet, or would you sometimes settle with what's available near you?

I eat more fruits now. I make it a point to swing by the supermarket to get a couple of fruits every other day. Also I reduced my carb intake and increased my protein. I also cut back on coffee and switched to green tea. But since I'm not the one deciding on the food here in our house then whatever is served on the table will do. I just remember to eat more fruits and drink more milk to maintain my bone strength.

I always eat home-cooked food. I bring packed lunch. It's also a way of saving money. But it's going to change! I'll be reporting in our head office for three days a week and only two days here in my official station. I won't be able to bring packed lunches when I report in our head office because I will be staying in my office mate's boarding house. The head office is far from home so that's why. I will probably be eating canteen food. And I don't like it. Aside from the fact that it's expensive, the taste is often not to my liking.

I am not so diet concious but still i plan on how and when to eat what. its totally balanced fibre rich diet devoid of any oils and spicy. Low salt is used in all dish in our home, so is low on sugar too.

I used to skip lunch when i was working.Since i go to jobsites everyday i always skip lunch . I just go for coffee most of the times. But when i am in the office, boss always want all of us to eat so we all eat together with their family, you can't say no if they tell you to eat. Now that i am working, even if i want to skip lunch i have to eat with my daughter. So i think eating is also about the environment or situation we are in.

My recent diet habit changes when I found my blood bad cholesterol level going up with unknown reasons. Maybe too much stress and less sleep. I more into vegetable salad with strips of red meat and different kinds of fruits for dessert.

I think our diet changes according to our situations. I change my diet according to my job. According to what is available. We have to adjust our life accordingly. In my previous job I was having whatever was available close by. Now I take a packed lunch to office.

yup, i agree that sometimes we have to adjust to the place we are in and sticking to a diet we used to have in a totally different environment would be really diffult.

In my opinion, all the diet programs have bad consequences, the best is, healthy living, healthy eating, and going to sport regularly, that's it!

I think most people will have to do with what food is available around where he/she works. There is no way for a salaried worker to want to eat what he has in mind for economy and time constrains. As I am not a particular eater, I tend to have the same food everyday(it is also food that I like). When I am hungry, all food is delicious. But I do like to try new food especially those fancy ones.
