Now i don't have to worry.
A little baby came to the rescue.A new member of the family my daughter has been waiting for .
Meet Jaguar..
Now i don't have to worry about when to have another baby boy because our baby dog Jaguar can now see and roam around the house.Makes my daughter at least for a while forget about me and husband giving her a baby brother to take care of.
Isn't he cute and adorable?
What you say guys?
The only problem i have is that, dogs are not good for my daughter's health because she have asthma. But she love dogs so much so as this cute little one.Any tips?Shall i allow them to play together?

Jaguar is really cute! Surely your daughter will enjoy playing with her new brother My neighbor has asthma before but she has two dogs. They just don't like a cat. I don't understand why they seem to ban cat but not the dogs.

Hi en and sid,
Good to see both of you
Jaguar is so handsome i tell you and he is so sweet. He have long hair and so active that is why my daughter loves her around.Actually eversince my daughter went on and off the doctor weeks ago,we didn't allow the dogs inside the house. But when jaguar and blackie open their eyes and start roaming around,we can't help but let them in.
They are just too cute to ignore, but blackie unlike jaguar is not homebuddy,he likes to stay outside. That is why only jaguar stays inside and always sleep in the door mat outside our room.

Hi tamirs
I think you should first check out with the doctors for your daughter's asthma. Also, if Jaguar has higher hair fall, I would suggest to keep them (Jaguar and Daughter) away - though this is difficult as your daughter is too young to understand the issues about her health and also the fact that she needs someone to play around with.

Dear friend. After reading this discussion I searched my store of websites on health and found, that it is mostly not the dog's or pets hair but the elements these furs collect. A website also says that consider whether your pet could be producing allergens that are triggering asthma symptoms
Here are two Links from my collection of health websites (with relation to the problem of pets and Allergies and Asthma)
http://kidshealth.org/parent/question/medical/asthma_pet.html
http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/health_advice/facts/allergypets.htm
Please go through these health pages and maybe you can find some better tips.

Daughter don't touch jaguar because she knows its smell and hair is not good for her but she doesn't want him out.She loves seeing him walking around the house, peaking in our room and rest in daughters feet while she is watching TV in the living room.
You think she'll catch dog hair by that?

Hi, Tamirs, Jaguar is really cute! I don't have a medical information about asthma and dogs. But as I know they always say that "some people" with asthma have problems with cats and dogs. You should consult your doctors and find people with personal experience.
In any case I don't imagine how you can forbid your daughter to play with her new friend. Maybe you could take the risk and to them be in contact and see if there is really a problem.

Hi! ^_^ seems fair enough if you let them play together. When I was a kid before I also had asthma but because I love dogs and they loved me, they allow me to have fun. But I guess, as a mother you also have to take care of your daughter's health so just make sure that she won't frequently hug and kisses the dog just to avoid any health problems. Take note: dogs fur can cause asthma allergy to occur...^_^ have a nice day! have fun! ^_^

He is boyuancy,he is a cute little fellow.
About the asthma, they say the cats fur has bad effect to people who is asthmatic. So we believe that if cats fur is bad for the so as dogs hair.
Inhaling their fur can block the airways and tickle the nerves and will trigger the attack of asthma. But i am not sure if this also applies to dogs hair.

I don't think dogs shed as much hair as cats do, they only shake the dust off, but if trained well they do it outside.
My cousins have a dog, and my cousin sister is an asthematic. I don't think she has any problem with their dog, and gets along very well with it.

he is adorable.even if your daughter has asthma is not obligatory to have a problem with dogs.most of people that face this problem are usually alergic to cats.you should let them play and if you see that your daughter has problems go for advice to a doctor.also it can be useful to wash him every 2 or 3 weeks with a dog shampoo because peolpe are not actually alergic to the dogs hair, but to a protein that is secreted by the dogs skin.

Thanks pandora
I am monitoring her condition since yesterday morning.I allowed her to play with Jaguar yesterday and hopefully everything goes well so that little Jaguar can stay inside.

Your dog looks so adorable. He looks so sweet. You can try enrolling your daughter in swim lessons and make sure that she swims at least 1hour - 3 times a week so make her lungs stronger. I know of an old team mate of mine that used to have asthma episodes once a month, when she got into swimming the asthma episodes lessened and now she doesn't have episodes anymore.
Be sure to train and discipline your dogs so that you won't have problems with him when he gets bigger. There are plenty of videos on YouTube that you can watch and follow. We have 3 labradors and 1 shih tzu. I only watched training videos on YouTube, all our dogs have a "schedule" on what time they will potty so we won't have to wipe or get poop inside the house.
Blessed be

Hi tam!
It is nice to hear that you have added a new member to your family and now your daughter has forgotten for the time being about a new baby (for which she was asking about you).

Okay, there is no problem for her to play with the little doggie.
But make sure she's not going to carry it ,maybe playing is fine and not too long as well.

Glad to meet your jaggy tam!
Well, my kids were asthmatic too that's why we don't allow dogs in our house. But they were not deprived in loving those because whenever we got to go to my in-laws in Bulacan which happen as usual, they were playing cutie dogs in there.
I think dogs do the same effects as cats fur can be. Well, there's many factors can affects our kids health condition but sometimes I can't help but allow them to experience those and not be deprived *sigh!
When my daughter was 6, I enrolled her to a summer swimming lesson to make her lungs stronger just to add extra immunity and I can say that, it's really been a help. It's 4 years now that her brochial asthma was absent, but not her skin asthma *sigh! I just showering her with creams and mild lotions! That's what it takes...

Surely you have her a nebulizer, it will help you not to send her to ER whenever there's been an attacked!
Yes, big relief that her asthma been slept inside her for quite long... hopefully it will totally be gone (but I doubt)! What bothers me now were my 2 boys that inherited my asthma too *sigh. I will let them to go in a swimming lesson together... maybe when my youngest turns 4 (my eldest son is 7 that time) and that's 2 years from now...
Puppies really that hard to disregard! Having those cute little parts of them... their paws, nose, tail, face, body and all... oh your daughter will really find it hard to resist, even us grown up, right?! .. not to mention their playfullness that gives more attention to love them *sigh!

Hi lhen
My daughters bronchial asthma just started last month and she is under treatment we will be in her doctor again on February 9 for the monthly check up.Good thing your daughters asthma is gone that is really a big relief for you.
Daughter really loves dogs and cats, she used to have a cat but after the attack we took the cat to farm so she'll be taken care of.Daughter gets to see cat every once in a while when we visit farm. But this cute little dog is really hard to shoo away but of course if it will cause my daughter another attack better bring it to farm early than cause my daughters health

My comment is not sarcastic. I do not use sarcasm, I like talking straight to people and that's what I did with you. Asthma is a very serious condition. I wouldn't ask people on the internet about it.

hi tamirs oh he is so cute and she will love him. maybe she could wear a mask til she gets used to him.so little to have asthma poor baby. maybe she can outgrow it. Also I think he will not shed like
a wooly dog would an that where a lot of the asthma problems come from dogs that shed hair and dander. I think you will have a hard time keeping her from playing with that sweet baby puppy lol

You dog is adorable but i am worried about your daughter's condition. I do not think that she could handle her asthma with a pet in the house and she could even get worse.

the name like jaguar gives solid impact i our mind but jaguar is really very cute. but it is very difficult for your daughter to make distance from jaguar. but what to do if she have asthma i think maintain distance from jaguar, otherwise she will in trouble.
