What are you currently reading?

Hello everyone. What books are you currently reading? Are they non fiction or fiction? Would you recommend the book you are reading? I recently finished reading "The Walking Dead Compendium" (awesome graphic novel!) and now I am reading two books: "Why We Make Mistakes" and "The Great Influenza: The Epic Story of the Deadliest Plague in History". So far all these books are fantastic, however the "Why We Make Mistakes" book has a lot of common knowledge in it so it is boring at times. What about you?

I love reading... - Or rather did (in 2004); and in fact still do...
I like biographies. I recently finished a very long one of Elvis Presley, one of two epic biogs of Elvis in my possession. Right now, I'm reading an epic biog of Marlon Brando, one of several I own. I also read autobiographies; but prefer biogs.

Have you read one about Benjamin Franklin? I heard that a recent bio for him came out and I've heard it is a great read.

I'm reading "One Second After." My son gave it to me for Christmas and I gave him a copy! It's really good, but I keep having to put it down to do something else. I'm going to give myself an afternoon just for reading soon, though. This book was on the best seller list about a year ago, so I'm not too far behind...

Forgot to say that it's fiction, but in reality, it could happen.

I read my English books because I am now studying English literiture specilizing in translation. To be more successful I have to read more. Beside that, I like reading true story novels. I can learn a lot from those true stories. I don't like fictions. What about you?

I absolutely love the tv show "Game of Thrones"! I'll have to check out the books. I have heard that they are really long. I generally only like to read non-fiction, but for the "Game of Thrones" I might make an excption. =)

I actually just finished reading the girl with the dragon tattoo yesterday. Overall it was a pretty good book but the first 100 pages were a bit slow an boring at times but I would still recommend it because once you get to the good part, you won't be able to put it down. I think next book I'm going to read is the hunger games. It's already on my iPad and I think I might start it soon.

I asked this question on another social networking site and I saw a lot of people were reading "The girl with the dragon tattoo". I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the recommendation.

At the moment I am not reading anything. The last book I did read was the in the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Him and Dean Koontz are my favorite. I have read some by Dan Simmons too. I have two small kids, so finding time to sit down and focus on a book is quite difficult right now. I am a huge horror and psychological thriller kind of person though.

Talk so that Kids will Listen & Listen so that Kid - Talk so that Kids will Listen & Listen so that Kids will Talk. It is a great book for parents.
I'm reading "Talk so that Kids will Listen & Listen so that Kids will Talk". I have a son that is hyperactive and sometimes I cannot understand what he's trying to say. This book helps a lot on how I can communicate efficiently with my son. Now we rarely have episodes where we need to go over and over on what he is trying to say.

I do enjoy reading novels, comedies, historical, science fiction, and so on. Very relaxing. These days, I am reading books about "meditation", ways of meditation, benefits of meditation, meditation centres around the world, and more. I have been practising meditation for some years now.

"The Taking" by Donald Beman. Fiction. It's not very good. I thought it was supposed to be horror of some sort, but I'm about... a quarter? A quarter through it, and it's mostly the main character talking to women. And by "talking to", I mean "touching". Would not recommend. Might not even bother finishing.

I'm currently reading "Les Miserables" by Victor Hugo, a famous French author. This is a great fictional novel that really inspires and motivates me. I'd recommend this to anyone that's into dramatic, passionate, and romantic novels.

These days I am reading a interesting book:"The undercover scientist" by Peter.J.Bentley. It reads relaxing, enjoyable, and always reminds me of knowledge about physics, chemistry and biologhy learned in senior high school. It uses a hapless man's chain of bad luck as clue, involving various aspects in daily life. I recommand this book. Reading the book under the bedlamp in the night is a great joy. Trust me, have a try.

I'm reading T. Harv Eker's Secrets of a Millionaire Mind. This book is all about mastering the inner game of wealth and doing what rich and successful people have done to be to achieve what they are right now. I'm not really into fictional books. If I may ask, what are the benefits of reading fictional books?
