I opened up a jar of Alfredo sauce fried up some hamburger and boiled some frozen meat stuffed Raviolis
and then mixed it all together and had it with some garlic bread.....DELICIOUS.
I like to make my Spaghetti sauce from scratch but I haven't quite mastered the Alfredo Sauce so i use it out of a jar
.
Do you prefer making your sauces from scratch?

I haven't froze any but there are a lot of people that make extra foods and then freeze them for later. It certainly makes sense and would save time.
I agree that there is no spaghetti sauce like the homemade stuff. I wish I knew how to make that alfredo from scratch. I bet it would be awesome.

hope my hubs wants chili next weeekend will suggest that to him when he comes back home from the self help group. We have already been through all the flyers from the supermarkets but have to decide on what to cook for next weekend.

I find that I like them out of a jar, both red and alfredo sauces. I like homemade gravy and some others but we seldom eat any kind of pasta. I would love your concoction, though.

It all depends on what I am making whether I make my sauce or gravy from scratch or not.

All you do is using the juices from you chicken, hamburger(after frying), steak or beef roast. Then take a glass or measuring cup and add water to it, then add several tablespoons of flour or cornstarch to the water. Using a wire whisk to mix the flour and water until you have no lumps then mix with the juices and cook until it thickens and salt and pepper to taste
. If you get lumps in your gravy, just pour the gravy through a sieve.
