Why Would You Share Something So Personal On Your Wall?

I simply think it is exaggerating when someone post something that is too personal and too emotional on their facebook wall. I mean, what is the purpose when you post something on your wall, of course for all your friends to see right?
Like fighting on facebook wall.. erghhhh..

I knew some people fighting each other on the facebook wall, like brothers and sisters. Eventually, it became so personal, they fought it on real life other than facebook now. So, would facebook be the perpetrator? Personally, I won't post too much information on facebook. Lowe your profile, and share what is right.

Maybe these are people who just can't talk one to one, maybe the friends on Facebook are not real friends where they can talk to face to face, maybe their way of venting..maybe I don't understand it either.

Some people do that to get attention . . . other people just don't "think" and they post whatever comes to mind. I have friends who post negative things about their spouses or kids - and that's stuff I really don't want to read about in Facebook. Perhaps also, they have no other person around them in the real world to talk to, so they blast it on Facebook.

It is really sad to see people using social networking sites as a means for ventilating their anger or scoffing someone. I think it is mostly to grab everyone's attention and may be their sympathy on emotional matters. Whatever the reason is, I feel people should not cross their lines whether it be face to face or on facebook.

Those statuses are so annoying. I don't read them. I just ignored them. And had an evil smile. LOL. They just want to be recognize that's all maybe. They want to tell everything in their walls. But as for me, if i would want to say something i would send private message. I don't want other people to know everything about the things that i do.

I thought i was the only one who is annoyed. Yeah you're right they will when they will read it again one day. They will say, They were stupid to write that. LOL. But, anyways, they can say whatever they want as long as it doesn't hurt the people from their fb friends.

I guess they just have to release it out of them. And when it happens that there is noone around that they can talk to, they post it on Facebook. Also spending a lot of time on FB makes it more natural for them to express theirselves there.

when they do that.. simply portraying weakness of themselves and let everyone knows about it. i think it is totally pathetic..

You shouldn't be so harsh on them though. They don't do it on purpose to just gain attention, it's a thing they learnt from the groups they hang out with I think. And I must admit, I have friends like that, so it's just another characteristic of today...

I'm not sure; however, there are times that we each can just reach our boiling points and need to vent somewhere. Personally, I try to get along with everyone; however, there are times that things just seem to be going so downhill like when I lost my job.

its only like sharing what you feel with friends in facebook so they can also share their thought for you, its just somehow to make discussion from that words you have in your wall. for me i didnt see any wrong with it as its their one way of expressing it i also did mine sharing too personal things in it, besides my facebook page is in private mode so no outsider can see it so its ok

I think many people live their life alone. Lately I met an old friend again on fb (yesterday actually). I havent been on fb for a long time. He asked me how I am doing. So I asked him what he did the past months.. later I noticed his son had a terrible accident, he wrote it on his wall. I know he lives alone so I think writing this down will make it easier for him to tell all his contact at once, to get some support and understanding.
Personally I would never write this on my profile, also not because I don't consider most friends over there as real friends. i just added them at the time I was still playing games over there.

This is one of the reason why I reduce the time logging in to facebook. These status are just annoying. Some of these status doesn't even make sense or sometimes uninteresting. It's like watching a reality show about people whom you don't care about. Unless of course those personal status has something to do with me or my family, I usually hide them forever.

I dont like too posting so personal on my facebook.Actually i dont post a lot.I always visit my facebook evryday but only to watch my friends doing.I dont like those who update so personal like i get angry with someone.I think this is too personal to let the whole world know.I dont want other people know i have some problems either its so small or big,i better keep my mouth shut than makes some facebook hater smiles and laugh at my worst.
