Does anyone know about search engine optimization and use of keywords?

I am starting to learn about the use of key words to help get my articles found in the search engines, but I have not mastered this skill yet. I have a theory that I want to put into use for my articles, but I want to make sure I know as much as i can about search engine optimization before I put this theory to the test.

I will just say a lot of research to find good keywords with low competition. It's not easy process and for sure you will need some more time to see first results. A lot of factors are playing here, not just SEO. New fresh content, backlinks etc etc.
How i say hard work and lot of research.

I know there is more too it, but I think by using branding techniques you could take key word use to a whole new level.

Basically, search-engines just seek the Internet for the 'search terms' (keywords, mostly) that users enter in. Search-Engine Optimization is just the webmaster's/blogger's way of trying to show search-engines that their own site has the answers the user is looking-for.
(A lot of the time SEO goes into 'how to have the SEs see you FIRST,' but too often that SLOWS DOWN the user & makes the information useless.)
