Update on giftsandbags!!!!!!

Good evening mylotters...
Just an update on the progress of our friend, giftsandbags.
She is actually very well today...she has been moved from
one hospital to another facility..I arrived 30 minutes after
she arrived by ambulance...and I was there with her for a
few hours until they finally got her registered and prepared
her room...But she said she was in better spirits than yesterday.
She just really really need help to deal with the rediculous
antics her daughter put her through...
I hope she can get it where she is...I hope they don't elect to
just inject her with meds where she dosen't know if she is
coming or going..

Hi alberello, just because you don't know dosen't make you
ignorant to the fact...You just obviously just missed the
post yesterday... Yes its the same person and she just had
a few problems and needed a little rest. But she is much
better today, so she said and I was with her today and she
looked ok,,,Lets just hope that tomorrown she will be even
better and so on and on.....
I will let her know that you are concerned....

Dear friend, first of all thanks for the information. Just because she is better now, I'm already more reassured. Important was the fact that it was nothing serious happened.
I hope and pray for her health and for her speedy recovery. I am looking forward to read the messages again that she has always written for tradition here on Mylot. Instill all of us here are a great community!

I am happy to know that she is doing well. I was hoping that she will be discharged. I guess, she isn't really fully recovered yet. So now, I am hoping that she will finally be discharge soon. And hopefully the issue with her daughter is really OK.

I hope she gets better soon. I think that she needs to learn to deal with issues a little better. I am glad that Adrian is there with her. I think that she will do okay and I wonder what happened. I need to go find your other posts.

They may give her meds so she can rest. Sleep will do her some good. Her daughter is something else. Gifts loves her so. I think the girl needs to be on some medication for her bi-polar disorder. I had so many bad times with my daughter until she was correctly diagnosed and then took forever to find the right medication for her. She is doing really well now. Meds have to be changed occasionally cause they quit working. But, anyway, I know it is quite a feet to live with and try to love a child that has this illness.

what she is going through...she is on medications...But she d
did have meds last night to sleep...But I wasn't talking about
sleeping meds...I mean those hard meds that really have her
completely out of it and dosen't really know who she is or any
one else...I don't like that and I don't think thats right...Just to
keep them sedated and out of everyone's hair especially the staff....

What you're saying is very true. The right meds can do wonders for her daughter. I think her daughter just didn't want to take them and made her excuses. They need to find the right one for her. As far as Gifts goes she needs to seek some counseling that will give her the tools she needs to mother her daughter. Its tough being a single parent and then to have a troubled child makes it very hard. And, if Adrian is going to help her they need to be on the same page. All these things, or lack of them, causes her stress. Stress makes you sick and you end up where she is now. I have experienced horrible stress and feel i am allergic to it. I know what she is going through. She really needs a counselor. She can get an intern counselor which means they are in the process of getting their license and have to have so many hours under their belt and do the counseling for free until they do. If she calls counseling centers and asks if they have an intern available this would be the way to go. I hope she is feeling better.

Even though it sounds like she is doing better, I still hate to hear that she isn't well and I will definitely be keeping her in my thoughts and prayers as she recovers from her illness.
With that said, I know that it doesn't really sound all that kind to say, but perhaps this will show her daughter the hell that she is putting her mother through and will help their relationship to grow in a positive manner.

I'm glad to hear that she is in better spirits. As bad as it is, I'm kind of glad that she is in the hospital. I'm hoping this will be a wake up call to think of herself for a change. She is so worried about her daughter, and taking abuse from the crazy boyfriend. She's a strong woman, and I know she will come out of this ok, and I hope she gets some help for herself, she deserves it. I don't know her personally, but, please let her know we are all thinking of her.

I am very sorry to hear that Gifts and Bags our lovely friend on My Lot went to a hospital and then was transferred to a different hospital in an ambulance. I hope that she is now happy, stable and in better spirits than yesterday. Her daughter put her through such a lot. I am so delighted that you went to visit her in the hospital. I hope that Gifts and Bags will soon be well again.

Hi Bjc,
This is so nice that you are doing this and keeping us all updated on her. I hope she continues to get better and stronger and will be home soon. I know that KK has been a real source of stress for her but I've seen it for a while now that Gifts really could use some help in dealing with it. Hopefully, they will give her that help where she's at. I hate to see her put on a bunch of meds too. She can refuse, can't she? Well, give her hugs and I'll keep my eye out for your next update.

Ah - hope she is doing better today! Oh geez - all that stress from what's been going on . . . it was just too much. Hopefully they don't give her the meds . . . I hate that doctors treat everyone with this med or that med. Here's to a speedy recovery . . . please tell her she is still in my thoughts!

Hi bjc, I am sorry to hear about gifts. I didn't see your previous post (probably because I am not as active on myLot as before). I hope she gets better soon.
I have read her posts about her daughter and the daughter's bf from time to time. I do feel bad for her. But our gifts is a strong lady, one of the strongest women I know - though I don't know her that well, that's the impression I get.
Do give her my love and lots of hugs when you see her next and tell her that we miss her and pray for her. She is lucky to have a friend like you, though. Hugs to you too.

My thoughts and Prayers continue to be with her at this time with all that she is going thru. Sounds like there needs to come some decisions concerning her daughter and that situation that will be best for her, and everyone involved. Just really wish there was an easier solution, but I know God is in control and things will get better.

I didn't know she was in the hospital but I do hope she is of now. Let her now that everyone here at mylot is wishing her the best. Doctors always think that medications is the best course of action but if it calms her down then I guess it's good because she will be calmer. All the best to her!

It has worsen. She should really do something about that daughter of hers...all she bring gifts are headache and pain and worries!! No child should do that to their mother or father even.. How is gifts? Send my well wishes to her.

I am glad that things are looking up for her. I hope that she can work things out with her daughter because she is such a great person. I am glad that she is in better spirits and that Adrain is by her side. I am glad that you live close to her and are able to visit with her and help her out.
