Apple Iphone 4S vs Samsung Galaxy S2

Hi fellow mylotters. Most of us have a smartphone nowadays or are atleast planning to have one in the near future.. I am a great fan of the Android platform and the Galaxy series, but there are many I phone faithfuls too among us. Which according to you is the better phone among the two and why do you like it?

IPhone 4s is good because of all the new improvement to it like the A5 chip set. Because of that A5 chip your game play in the IPhone will have better quality the disclaim in that if you can bear with the heat from the chip. And also because of that A5 chip the battery life time will be less compare with the normal IPhone 4. In Siri it is not compatible in all countries in the world and it is still a BETA version and still under the process of development so I am not surprise if it has a BUGS in the system. In the 8 Mega pixel cam is just like you having a 5 Meg cam my friend said. In the 1080P video it is just a 720p dimension they just stretch it the 720p to 1080p so it is only 720p video quality not 1080p. Over all it is a good phone it you can use all the features of it. I am not familiar with the Samsung so I have nothing to say to it..

A very good reply Jaime22.. AS you said Siri may not work in all countries becasue of the accent issue.I recently went to an apple store and tried out the Siri. It was very good but for many of my questions it was not able to follow.. But it was just like the Virtual intelligence we see in sci fi movies.. Tottal;y Awesome 
I phoen 4S is a real cool phone no doubt but I am a little more comforatble using the Androd platform and the cost is a major factor too.. Thanks again for a descriptive reply.. Cheers

Yes me to I like android platform because I can easily change it if there is a new version of the android in the net. And i just can use the market apps in the phone instead of hoking it to my pc and using the ITunes program to download the apps that I want. I just open the wifi open the android market app and search the apps that I want and pres to it is installed no more PC needed.

I always choose Iphone 4S. It the best smartphone nowadays in my opinion. You will be more professional with the Iphone 4S.

hmmm that is a good point my friend but dont you think I will look more professional if I have a blackberry torch or similar?

It's just my opinion, Apple sounds better than Blackberry. And query keyboard is not convenient as touch.

Hi..
I will say that Samsung Galaxy S2 is the better option. Because both phone having almost same features(S2 is probably having some more) and still S2 having very lesss price in compare to Iphone 4s. So if you look this way surely you should go for S2.
But personally if I have more money than I would like to choose iphone 4s. Because I am iphone lover. Currently using 3gs and also used galaxy s2 of my cousin... And still liking 3gs..
But surely s2 having some great features, specially its camera and amoled screen.

Great point akp100 the one feature that I really love about the S2 apart from the value for money is its crystal clear display.. Morevoer its superior processor does not let the phone hang and the transition between screens is so smooth.. cheers

Android is the best in my opinion. the cost is cheaper compared to the iphone and also the frequency of updates in android is far greater than any smartphone OS out there. Also if u r into app development i heard developing an app in the android platform is much simpler than that of iphone.. and is open source which is the best part of it

i think samsung (android) is better than iphone because android give us access to all android features by rooting android but iphone not give us that
