Do You Think We Have Our Own Free Will?

Some say that we are in full control of our lives, some, on the other hand contradict it by saying that there are 'invisible forces' that governs everything in this world. So, which side do you believe in?
I personally think that we do not have our own free will. We don't make life-changing decisions on our own. Well, we seem to be making every decisions in our lives but I don't think that's the way this world works.
I believe in destiny. I believe that every single thing that would happen in our lives is already planned out even before we are born. We are meant to be in a certain place at a certain time. We are meant to meet people that have been part of our lives. We don't choose the path of our lives, it was already chosen for us from the beginning.
We are puppets, some sort of entertainment of those 'invisible forces' that plans out our lives and see how we react to the decisions they made. No one has the incentive of having free will cause if we do, then I don't think there would still be beggars in the streets. Probably all of us would be living a peaceful, humane life. Besides, who would choose a life that would deprive you convenience, security and even the most basic needs for survival?
Humans, known to be the highest form of animal, have no freedom of choice.

I agree that we as humans don't really have freewill, in a sense that in order to have free will you would have complete control of your actions. Regardless of what people may think this is not actually true. A very simple example would be your compulsion to eat when your body needs energy. I can be sure that whenever you feel hungry you would be obliged to eat. You may think that you do have freewill stating that you can choose to forego your hunger and do some other activity. But no matte how you resist you will have to eat sooner or later.
Total freewill is not achievable, but I wouldn't concede to believing in destiny or fate or being a puppet for a higher power. In lieu of believing on freewill or destiny, I'd rather like to think that I have freedom to choose. It's not much I know but I like to have a sense of control in my life, no matter how small.
Good day.

I disagree with you on this point. It us who changed our lives. If you didn't try to change it, no one, or even God will change it. For example you try to kill yourself by drinking poisionous liquid, if you do it , you will be finished. But if you try not to, you will be saved. We have to change it ourselves not others.

I personally believe that there is only one invisable force and His name is God. I also believe that He gives me free will. He has expectations and commands for me to follow according to His will, but I have am given the choice to do as I will. I do not believe in destiny. God knows every breath we will take and every thing we will do before we are born, but we are responsible for our own choices and lives.
Beggars may not have chosen to be on the street, but they may have done or not done something that resulted in them being put there. They may not have been able to control what put them on the street (ie, they were fired from a job or laid off)but nonetheless, they are there because of something some human being did by choice.
We make choices and live with the consequences.

I think our characters and our hearts affect our destiny. If we for example are “cut out” to do something, or have “a calling” then that very thing may come to us or fall on lap. The same could be said for relationships. Some people just seem to be meant for each other but I don’t think of it like forces at work but just something that will happen if the situation arises. What we do with those opportunities remains as our free will. Certainly systems are in place that will dictate what we can do in our life but free will is always there just as choice is always there. Not saying, every choice is a good one though. That does not say however this is reason why people are in peril or needy. Bad and good things happen to everyone in various degrees.

I think we have our own will.
But just in the small things, i think the big things that happen or will happen are already planned. I can't tell you but i just feel this way.
I thinking meeting your true love or something is planned.
The changes are to little for it to be not planned.
Ofcourse there are a lot of theories, but i think it's just how you feel.
