As Christians, we were taught that heaven and hell exist when we were young. What would then their proof on this? If these two doesn't exist, why do they say that there is? All the Best!

To me, they do exist. Not in the sky or under the ground as cartoonishly portrayed but in a higher and lower plain of existence. We do not have the exact means to prove the existence of different planes yet but we do know they are scientifically possible, so even science partially accepts the probability of them existing. Many people simply say "just do good, and be a good person in life and etc" but that isn't exactly the full thing. The biggest thing mentioned in the Bible is accepting Jesus Christ as your savior. Sins are bad, but can be redeemed, this is even to all so don't listen or buy into "YOU'RE ALL GOING TO HELL" extremists. We believe in a lighter and more forgiving God who welcomes all to Heaven as long as they accepted Jesus as savior and had themselves saved. Many churches convulse this message a bit and are more condemning, I find myself disagreeing with other Christians at times more than atheists. Also I seriously disagree with using the image of Hell as a means to scare people. Also, it should be noted that Hell is probably NOT a firey pit that has some giant horned, pointy tailed, red guy with a pitchfork poking people with it.

So why did early Christians portray hell as a fiery place where giant-horned Satan wait for you? Then why do many churches convulse on this type of message as condemning?

So what does this means : "Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels." You know for sure there is no hell or heaven or this is your personal opinion based on what Jesus told you on Matthew 25:41 ?

At the time, it was the closest humans were capable of association. And many churches seem to like to scare people, or mislead people. This isn't something new to Christianity. In my own interpretation of Hell, the torture may be far more psychological, and spiritual. Why? Because there is no body left. What sensation is left other than that of the consciousness itself? The fact of the matter is, it was easy to portray the most horrible place imaginable as a fire and brimstone pit that you keep burning in. Humanity needs something to associate with, it was the best association they could understand. People wouldn't know how to comprehend a deeper concept at the time and already have a fear of blazes. Bear in mind, this isn't manipulative, it is just something people could relate a fear to at the time. Satan is also described in the bible as: Beautiful, shiny, serpent/dragonlike being who glows, and so forth. Obviously Satan wouldn't just be some ugly red man with a pitchfork. Also, bear in mind that the first actual images of a horned devil were manufactured by the Medieval church, derived from other cultural gods that bore horns. These are not true to the actual Satan. Since then this image was standardized into modern culture.

The scriptures actually talk that we will be resurrected to three degrees of glory, on ef the sun, one of the moon and equated to the glory of the stars. See 1 Corithians 19. So why are do most religion teach it in only heaven and hell? Also, Steven as he was being stone says he looked into 3rd heaven.

It's really a question that can't be answered. And not because it can't be answered, but because too many people don't like the answer. For instance: If I said there was a little monster named Clyde living in my closet, but he was invisible, only spoke through me, and couldn't be found no matter what you did, you would probably tell me that Clyde unfortunately wasn't real. But you didn't disprove it. You did. But you didn't. Okay, so you did. But, really, you didn't. Odd thing, this religious business. I say believers should fully embrace it. Don't go halfway in. If you're gonna go in, push all your chips in. If you are a Christian, then obviously there's a heaven and hell for you out there waiting. I hope you make it to the good one.

hi:) nobody really knows if heaven and hell really exist, but believing in this have also a better effect on people, because many are doing good works because they want to go to heaven when they die and have a happy and eternal life, and also some people are avoiding doing bad and crimes cause they are afraid to go to hell... so whoever invented this, true or not... it's good.

Yes they do exist! But not somewhere in the sky or far beneath the ground... They exist within us.. Ur evil thoughts are considered as hell and ur good ones as heaven.I you do good to others and think of others, stop being selfish and start showing humanity then they say u r good and god is within u,its means ur heart is heaven, and if vice versa happens ur heart is considered to be a dwelling of demon and hence hell. Whatever religion u are from, belief is the same....

People say that If we are good person, we will go to the heaven when we die. On the other hand, we will go to the hell. I don't think that the heaven and hell exist because I don't belong to any religion. But I always try to be a good person, helping other people helps our life full of meaning.
