There's nothing left but the moaning of the Maddoff family as Bernie Maddoff, ponzi schemer extraordinary sits in prison, and son lays in the morgue. There have been at least three books published or in process of getting published about the goings on of a family that can be best called strange. Running through the family is a thick tar of obsessive compulsive disorder. Bernie's wife lived in terror of infidelity... with reason. She fought like a rat in a bag against aging, botox and face lifts along with obsessive dieting couldn't keep Bernie's bits zipped away. The way she treated the help, belittling them at every turn, kept her becoming a character of sympathy. The children of the family, two brothers, were plotted against each other. Bernie goggled the young men's girlfriends and then wives.
