Will someone please answer my question. So I have been a member of myLot for many years and I have earn quite some decent dollars-I have not yet cash out any of it though. So I have been on hiatus for awhile and I have finally decided to come back and check my account. I saw that my earnings got back to $0.00. How can this be? Does being away for awhile might cause this? I hope someone can answer. Thanks

I think too many of us have the bad habit of signing up for a new account without reading the terms of the site we want to join. I remember I read about this in the terms: if we do not log in at least once in 90 days, we loose all our money. All we have to do is not to forget to log in at least once in every three months. Take me, for instance: I haven't been able to be active here for a few weeks, but still I logged in once in awhile, to make sure I don't violate the terms and loose my money. But don't worry. If you are active again, you'll earn what you lost in no time. Good luck to you!

quawertz ..unfortunately you are not the first to ask this and have this experience. I guess some forget the rules &forget you have to check in at least once during a 90 day period to have your account accumulate...It’s a hard way to learn the rule..

Just wanted to add my 2 cents worth here. When I first joined mylot quite sometime ago, this was not a rule, you didn't have to log in to keep your money the rule changed about 6 to 10 months after I joined. In fact I think an alert was sent out, since I was always logging on, even if I didn't post anything, I never fell victim to the loss of my money.

beaniefanatic13 ..Thanks that is very interesting and could very well explain why some who joined long ago experienced a loss. How long ago was this???

Around 5 years ago. I joined close to 6 years ago I believe. It changed some months to maybe a year after I joined. I do think that it's wrong for those that signed up during the time the guideline was you wouldn't loose your money and then you left but kept your account open and then come back to find you have earned nothing. That's just my 2 cents worth.

"I haven’t posted anything on myLot for several months. I logged into my account today and my earnings are missing what happened to them? Our terms of use state that if you don’t login to your account at least once over a 90 day/3 month consecutive period of time your earnings are forfeited. Please remember to login at least once every 90 days. You don’t need to post any new discussions or respond to discussions, you just need to login to your account so that we know your account has not gone idle." http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#21

I posted in the response box above and just want to say that this wasn't always so. When I first joined there wasn't any time that you had to log in to keep your money, the guideline changed after I joined. I believe an alert was sent out but alerts don't go to our in boxes, so it's possible to have read everything when joining and still have lost everything if you took a verrrrrrrrrrry long hiatus. Just wanted to throw that out there.

I just went and looked at her profile and she has been a member here for 5 years so it's quite possible that this rule took affect after she joined. @ quawertz, It would be a good idea to read the guidelines after being gone for such a long time as a few things have been added since joining. This is one of them.

lol, This one particular rule bugs me as it wasn't always this way, in fact in the rules it said that your money stayed in place you didn't loose it. Then it changed. Unfortunately those people who never logged on didn't know and lost. In these instances I don't think they should loose their money. Just my 2 cents worth. I meant no offense.

You know, my friend. Mylot did not pay you on your article only and wait day by day to grow. This is about activity and depending on what article you post here. If you get more comments and response and reply the same that's make you some... My experience before when I joined here was something like that. Till I read some discussion asking what to do...so I followed those suggestion and now I make some.

I just stopped by to say I´m sorry for you. What you are asking is at the rules and guidelines of the site, of course. The next time, just login once every 2 months if you cannot do it better and answer just one post. That will keep you active.

I ran into the same thing. A while back they made some changes and changed their policy on earnings and if you didn't have any activity, then you lost your earnings. I'm not sure what the time period is that you have to keep up your activity, but maybe someone else knows.

It happened to mine as well. We have to be active or sign in at least perhaps, once a week just to avoid getting deleted. Mine was twice reset to zero. Now I know about it, so I would't have mine deleted for the third time. Let's be active. We can learn from others.

I am sorry to say that your account must have beeb taken back to mylot. As what I have read from other mylotters, mylot will take back all you have earned if you don't log in for 3 months or 30 days. I hope that u know that already before you decided to be away in mylot. Your earnings will be back to zero. Start a new life here. Just be thankful that you are still able to log in in you mylot account. Goodluck and god bless you.

it is because you are not logged in for 90 days as all say. now you atleast be online once in a month so your earning won't be lost.

Sorry to hear that this has happened. It seems though that you need to login in at least once in a 90 period. I didn't know this before. But from everyone's response I'm glad to know this now. I hope that you are able to get your earnings back up there.

Say goodbye to your last earning, already expired You not login more than 90 days, .... that main reason why your earning disappeared.
