I find some people so strange on face book

Yes, I totally agree. Some people are just strange and the ones in Facebook are no exception. I think the reason why they post comments is to attract people's attention. The more you post personal thoughts in Facebook the less privacy you have. You will be shocked to find out that when you ran into a not-so-close friend, he is well updated about every aspect of your life.

Those are attention seeking individuals who wants to let the world knows that they exist. It hard to really understand what happens on minds of such people.

to know first who would notice and care about to know the juicy details. Coz if you just choose a few people to PM, that isn't attention-seeking at all! That is what FB is about, it's to satisfy our attention-seeking tendencies.

I think they are just seeking attention when they posted that question.Maybe they wanted to create a stir or wants to be " mysterious" and posts status up that would sure create mystery. People are strange.:)

You are right some people are very strange take our name in their photos (tag) I hate those people. Some send the message like they are our old friend and know us very well. But I not trust on anybody becaues I know this is very danger trust on any unknown person.

The thing is many people don't think when they post things on facebook. I think on some level they like it when people they do not "want" to see the status comment on it because they like the attention and it gives them an opportunity to be dramatic.

yes there are very strange people on Facebook, I laugh at the people who wish people greetings of various types and those people atr not even on their friends list and some are not even on the internet, strange I think.

hehe maybe you are right. i think you are correct there that when you do not want others to know, well.. why post it in the first place? but then sometimes we just felt the need to go ahead and still share bits and pieces and make other people wonder what we were up to?

You are right and that's why I don't like Facebook. I've received friends requests from people that I don't know. The last one works in the same company as me but we've never been friends. I added him and a few days ago when we met at the door of the building he didn't say hello! There are people who send invitations to join a cause to everyone in their friend's list. I really don't like all this but today it's compulsory to be there.

I think now for most people, FaceBook posts have become a force of habit. I hardly go on FaceBook anymore. I sometimes go there to promote MyLot and other sites. I use it now primarily as a tool.

I have understood what you want to understand, just from the title of your thread. In fact, on Facebook, you meet people sometimes strange. I also suspect that many of the accounts are fake. A friend of mine for example is believed to speak with a woman (she had also posted the photo), but once in the chat, it was clearly understood to have serious suspicions about whether he was a man!

Some facebook users may be younger who do this and they may be just seeking attention, i try to ask sometimes what happened and if i get no response, i just dont feed into their games.

it is a strategy to know about those people who care about you..if you private message some may have time to reply some may not. so its safe to put it on the status and let those who care about you discuss your situation and that having a private conversation is not bad if you ask me..

They probably put the comment in their status like a lure for a fish they are trying to reel in. When they get a catch then they have someone to talk to and they PM them from there. They just want to get someone interested.

There are strange people on Facebook! More like crazy! Thursady some friends of mine at work were talking about things people post on Facebook. Like we all have friends or relatives who only to seem to talk about the boyfriend in their life,like my niece does! Then there are the friends who are constantly complaining about everything and how much they hate their lives! I like keeping them around just to see how they fair in the real world! Another friend is my my younger brother's sister-in-law. She is constantly complaining and posting photos of neglected and abused animals! I am all for animal rights but she just cares about cats and dogs and this is to much! I was shown how to block posts to people who don't want them to see but for the life of me I can't forget how to do it! Then there are the people who are seeing rumors on Facebook all over the internet saying it is going to end in March! Similiar rumors have been flying around before and known are real! I wish people would stop thinking everything they hear about Facebook is real! Anyway I think I said enough I'll stop none!

hi:) I also noticed that many facebook users are strange. even those whom I really know personally when they use facebook they are like a different person... I don't know why like that but it happened.

I think they just choosing the people that they will tell the meaning behind their post. I have a lot of friends in facebook and i don't really know some of them in personal,most of them i just know them their looks so when they send me personal message,i don't give a reply. I choose the person that i will give feedback.
