michaelthewriterguy A knife my father gave me that was his grandfather's who used it in WW2. I keep it in a case and look at it all the time. Reminds me of the sacrifices so many people have made for this country.

Anyone know of a good dog that I Can get for a three year old. I don't want anything big,just a pet that is friendly.

michaelthewriterguy Any type of small dog would be fine. I would actually go for a mixed breed of chiwawa and some other dog, but generally if you don't want a puppy that will grow to be fairly big, sticking with small dogs that are puppies is a good idea.

michaelthewriterguy This month has gone by quite fast actually. I've been occupied with my business and writing poetry and a new novel, but I did get a lot done. I love the winter though. There is something enthralling about this time of year.

michaelthewriterguy The thing is many people don't think when they post things on facebook. I think on some level they like it when people they do not "want" to see the status comment on it because they like the attention and it gives them an opportunity to be dramatic.
