To be honest I never thought about that. Only heard about people living abroad who do so after many years of marriage (or do it because they never had a real wedding at that time).
I think if you celebrate your wedding day each year, spend time to eachother this is already a kind of renewing vow or?

Celebrating your wedding anniversary like going out to eat is pretty normal. Renewing the wedding vows is crazy! At least every year it is,I mean! That what Seal and Heidi Klum did and it didn't help their marriage! Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon do and it seems to work for them!

I like the idea of renewing your vows. I think its a great reminder of why you fell in love and married your spouse in the first place. My husband and I want to renew our vows on our tenth anniversary. I don't think every year is necessary but every few years is nice or even every ten years! =)

Doing it every year is a liitle over kill! I know Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon do it! I heard Heidi Klum and seal did. Now they are seperated! It didn't work for them but doing like at 5 years,10years and 25 years is cool for some people!

It is up to the couple. I know I would Only marry Once!I would be forced to the altar or huppah only Once.

Yes it is up for the couple and Seal and Heidi Klum had did it. Some expects beleive they did it becasue they thought it would help their marriage. It didn't! I would not do it every year if I got married! i think it would be ridiculous to do it!

i dont think i would do it every year, especially if you have a party afterwards, but i can see doing this on your 25th. hubby and i have tossed around this idea as this year will be our 25th but we are going to skip renewing our vows and just have the party! lol!

That is what my parents did when they celebrated their 30th Wedding anniversary! The party is the best part! LOL!

What is the point of having your wedding vows renewed every year? That would take what the ceremony is supposed to mean and turn it into something trivial, and tedious, and it would almost become routine. 25th wedding anniversary makes sense, because it is celebrating such a milestone of marriage, but every year is just..eh.

I heard that Seal and Heidi Klum did this.Some expects think they did this because their marriage was struggling from the start. They thought it would help their marriage. I guess it didn't!
Doing it every year is strange and crazy! I know Nick Cannon and wife Mariah Carey do it to. maybe their marriage is not going so well either!
