Gotta hit the gym, summer's fast approaching

That's the usual thinking of a lot of people who are working out. Summer here in the Philippines is from March to May so you will notice an increase in gym memberships or attendance between January to March. Most likely, they would like to display their bodies on the beaches that are abundant here in our country. As for me, I 've stopped working out since I married. Do you have that state of mind that you will only work out for summer?

I planning to hit the gym too! Summer is fast approaching but we shouldn't just hit the gym just for this season. We should incorporate this into our lifestyle.

That is the ideal lifestyle, however because of a lot of factors such as work and family schedule, working out or even minor exercises have been taken for granted. I, myself, am guilty of that so I am now reaping the effects of lack of exercise such as weight gain.

Really? I don't workout during summer. In fact, I don't workout anytime of the year. I do get some exercise once in a while. When it's summer, all I can think of is wearing my summer clothes and going to the beach or pools for a swim no matter how my body looks like. I'm too shy to wear a swimsuit anyway so I don't bother to workout. Thank God I'm slim!

Good for you my friend. I have noticed this trend whenever I visit the gym where I became a lifetime member of. Most people who work out are so concern with regard to how their bodies look when they go out in the beach. I think they are just show offs. :)

It is always suggested that one should always workout in a winter season. This season is always adaptable for human body to workout. You can get maximum benefit of workout in this season.
Here in India winter is from december to march. Crowd on the beach and gym increases in this season. I go for running in this season on beach and workout a little bit. I've never tried a gym.
This time unfortunately, I couldn't go for running even for a single day. I am so lazy to get up early in the morning. Because this time noone of my friend came to my house to wake up me! HAPPY MYLOTTING!

I'd like to work out throughout the year but often it seems that I get lazier during the winter months. I hate cold weather and just want to stay inside, bundled up with a cup of hot chocolate. lol I gain weight from the inactivity and also from all the holiday eating that happens between October to January. Then January rolls in and I have to lose the weight I've gained and then sometimes I have that new year's resolution to lose weight and be healthier. This does prepare me for summer and the shorts and t-shirts that I might wear and the vacations I might take. Also, I notice weight gain more in the summer because it is more visible due to the summer clothing I wear so I'm more likely to keep my weight in check than in the winter when I'm bundled up.
