Hello there people,
Hi guys i know that this is a little bit late but I think most of you already knows this. That Michael Jordan his Airness has accepted Kobe Bryant as the heir to his greatness he has acknowledge that kobe's hard work and efforts to staying on top and leading his team has payed of and that he is the only one with the work ethic, skill and talent to become the next Airness.

Hi David,
That was a good gesture on Jordan's part. However, he should have done so a few years ago when Kobe won his last ring. Anyway, with His Airness retired, Kobe really will be the heir to his kingdom and not Lebron, who doesn't have any ring yet.
Where did you got this information anyway?

At stuckonu...
I was also hoping to know where you get this information. I'm an avid fan of kobe since he won the slam dunk competition. I know there will be lots of haters and likers of Kobe. But that is what it makes it more interesting. To watch him overcome of all it and be as good as he is...

Okay, well MJ will still be MJ and kobe will still be Kobe in the end but if you come to think about it the exploits of jordan is really unmatchable, even with the up rise of great athletes now what Jordan did back in his days is just monstrous for a person to try.

kobe isn't jordan so i don't think hes his heir although he is the closest to him. jordan never lost in the finals, jordan shot over 50% from the field, jordan has 10 scoring titles, jordan has the highest playoff scoring average. kobe only has 2 scoring titles that i know of,hes lost in the finals, he shoots around 45% from the field for his career, and most of all kobe is too stupid because he wouldn't work with shaq to win even more. he could of done so more, but still hes one of the best. he isn't no micheal jordan though.

I love Michael Jordon as a basketball player! Far as I am concerned he is the best ever to play in the NBA! I think,at times,Kobe Bryant is a great player. When he not hogging the ball, complaining about his teammates when the Lakers don't win and how he is off the court. The womanizing, cheating on his wife, the rape in Colorado and how he drove Phil Jackson away for awhile! I never have been a Kobe Bryant lover and never will.

Michael Jordan will be Jordan no one can ever topple the way he dominated the game, the rings, the moves, the strategy, showmanship and the work ethic, he is just pure talent and class and hard work. Yess i guess i was wrong about the part that Jordan accepted kobe as his heir, he just said that kobe was at comparison level, I can only imagine if he was still playing today and at his best caliber against, kobe, lebron, wade, and so many of the other super stars i think in my own opinion he would dominate the game and teach the youngens how to properly play it.

Kobe needs to give it up and stop playing, he is one of the oldest players out there maybe not as old as some but he is on the top thats for sure. I know he was a great player back his day but now that his time is up he should give it up to someone else now like Lebron james or Dwyane wade someone that is younger then him because he isnt as good as he used to be anymore and you could tell that just from watching his games. I like the NBA and last night i attended the MIAMI HEAT game and it was a blast just like always.

Hi there lologirl,
I guess kobe really needs to focus more on the game than the ref or scores, i think Kobe is really up there quite next to Jordan, although he may not be the great airness he surely is the closest one in comparison and the best on what he does so he better get there and just Get the crowns.

That's great, but I'm pretty sure Kobe got other things on his mind. Like, more rings! Why did Jordan wait so late? I'm just saying, do you think it had something to do with Jordan himself. ( meanings was he hating)

Hey king,
In my opinion i think Jordan waited for Kobe to reach a certain level in his career like number of rings and age and maturity in the game, hate i don't think that there is hat between the two i guess Jordan just has high expectations of Kobe and when h reached it he announced it.
