I really do not like the Durian.Bau Durian, made ??me very dizzy. Moreover, the Durian fruit is not healthy. Instead, buy a Durian are expensive, better to buy fruits that are beneficial, and contain lots of vitamins. Eat Durian more losses, than the benefits.

I like durian, but not much, limitation of my stomach. It is "hot" fruit. But the taste is good. Even my foreigner friend like it. Here in Pasuruan, near Probolinggo which is known as source of Durian. So we have plenty Durian here.

It sure is one fruit that takes some getting used to. Even those who grew up with it not always able to stand the smell. I like the taste, but I can understand why it can offend some people who are not used to the smell.

Hi!
We don't have durian here in our town but I know durian, I've seen one, I've smelled one but I haven't tasted one. I don't like the smell! It doesn't smell nice. It smells bad for me actually. I actually can't understand how my friends are able to eat it. I've eaten durian candy though. The smell is still there but it's less than the real thing. It's tolerable. ^^

It is also durian season here. The price of durian is quite expensive here and they go by the kilo at rm5.00 per kilo. I've tasted the best durian during my last visit to Medan. We were on our way to Lake Toba when we stumbled upon people selling durians at the roadside. They have many varieties of durian there and I've tasted each type of durian sold. Durian is so cheap in Medan and I had a field day eating durian until I can take no more. I wish to go there again just to eat durians cos durian is my favorite fruit.

I love Durians. Some people don't like the smell but for me there is nothing wrong with its smell. There are more awful smell out there but Durian's smell isn't too bad.
What variety of Durian you like to eat? There are many varieties of Durian in my city.

Yes, i love durians, they taste so delicious and smelled nice to me. I'm glad my family and bf love durians. Whenever there's durian season, we are sure to stock up or buy them on a regular basis, have a big feast on them. As durian is a seasonal fruit, there are often some substandard ones and we won't buy them. If we want, we would buy the best and we are paying for the quality of it. Now that it's durian season again soon, i can't wait to taste them again.

Hello adhyz82,
I'm from Quezon City, which is in the Philippines, and there is no Durian here because Durian is only grown in the southern portion of the country, particularly in the provinces of Mindanao.
However, even if there is no durian here, I love the fruit. I fell in love with it the first time I tasted it. The bad news is, I can't eat much of the fruit since I have been diagnosed hypertensive so I can only taste a little of the fruit each time my husband brings home this fruit. This is due to the high carbohydrate and fat content of durian. Too bad for me :(

In my country, durian is an all year round fruit in the souththern part.
I am just amazed how they control the durian trees so that it furits all year.
However, there are also times where durian is really abundant.
I love to eat durian but it is rarely sold in my city.
An if their are, it is expensive.

Yeah, it's durian season also in here.
I don't like to durian. Just can't hold with its smell.
But my wife loves it very much.
So if we don't buy one, she will be suffering.
But if we buy one, it's gonna be me who will suffer as long as the durian is still available at home

I believe that you are from Davao City,Philippines the city of Durian. When I was young my father attended a seminar there he was an agriculturist and he bought Durian and an hybrid seed or plant I think. My father really loves to eat Durian but it was opposite on me I cannot resist the odor and sugar of the fruit.I only eat a little but I love those Durian candies.Right now we have a Durian tree in our house and we are waiting for its fruits.
