The story behind my avatar

Hi! friends in mylot,since i started with mylot it is only now that i posted an avatar. I just don't know what picture to use as my avatar. Yesterday, i noticed that i was only the one without avatar in one of the discussion we are responding to so i tried browsing at the pictures saved in my file. I came upon the pictures of our pet hamsters and i readily picked one. Her name is Blake, she is our pet hamster. Sad to tell that she is alone now with us. Her father died three days ago of old age maybe. Hamster has 2 to 3 years life span only. Her mother died about 5 months ago due to miscarriage when Blake was just 3-month old. When her mother died Blake did not stay away from her father, they sleep together in one corner of the house, but she is alone now. I can't help feeling sad for her. Hamsters are monogamous, so Blake's father, Gray did not have any partner when Tchilli died (Blake's mother). Blake can understand us, my daughter often talks to her and she seem can understand. When she is asking for food, she will touch my foot and when told to wait, she just stop and wait till she is given food. We don't keep them in the cage, we just let them inside the house. Blake wants to be carried and touched in her abdomen while i sing to her a happy birthday tune . My daughter also does that and Blake enjoys it. Blake has red eyes and light gray and white fur. We are so fond of them, that we still miss Gray and Tchilli. I hope Blake will stay longer with us. She takes away my stress from too much work in the office. Does your avatar has a story too?
